  • What Is The Qur'an About, Why Should I Believe It?

If you were to sum the Qur'an up in as few words as possible, what would it be? I know nothing about it and I'm simply just trying to understand why I should believe in it, thanks.

If i were to sum it up, I'd say it's utterly magnificent and that nothing can be compared to it, not in the past present or future.

It provides comfort, hope and positivity at a time when everything seems out of hand.

It's wisdom and its gems are yet to be fully unfold, and those already unfolded boggle the mind and provide complete proof that it isn't written by a man, rather it's the Word of Allah!

It describes so much in so less words and gives a lasting impression on one's mind..

Truly when somebody reads it for the first time, he is left astonished at the language of this scripture.

All of its qualities are just a proof that Allah exists.
There are gems to be discovered in Quran.

Recite :saw: when you read this sentence.

        Truth.

It also answers the question of why you should believe it.

How do I know the truth? Do I just read the Qur'an then I'm saved?

You just have to be sincere. That's all it takes. Allah will guide you Himself.

First of all you believe in the Oneness of Allah and that Muhammad :saw: was his His Messenger.

              (that's accepting islam)

Secondly, you pray 5 times a day and in those prayers you recite Quran.

3rdly, you fast in the month of Ramadan.

4thly, you give the obligatory charity to the poor which is known as Zakat (from the root word zakah which means to purify)

Lastly, you go to Mecca and perform Hajj (this pilgrimage is only obligatory if you've enough resources like wealth, health and means of going, otherwise you won't be questioned about it)

And that's how you'll be saved.

But all of these obligations come after the Shadaha, i.e the acceptance of islam

What if I do something bad on accident? Is there any judgement or am I saved by being sincere about it?

So I can't be saved by just being sincere?

When someone kills an innocent child there should be some type of judgement right? What happens if he did that but still believes in Allah, will he be saved?

In that case, he has to ask forgiveness from Allah sincerely.

If he meets Allah on the day of judgment without repenting for his sin, then Allah is the greatest of judges. Maybe He will punish him or maybe He will forgive the man. It's upto Allah.

But repenting would ensure Allah doesn't punish him.
