  • Hadith about Muslims killing one and other?

Does anyone have a copy of the hadith regarding the fact that killing another muslim is kufr. Had something to do with swords and the one who killed and the one who has been killed going to hell.

if two muslims fight one another with the intention of killing one another [this however must not be a defensive fight for one of the muslims but for both of them just out of hate or something] then both end up in hell; they do not become kaafir but they end up in hell temporarily; this is the understanding of the hadith

killing of a muslims [unjustly] only is kufr when the person kills believing it is ok to kill him [i.e ok with Allah and it is not a sin]

There is another dimension of the explanation of this hadith.

Allah AWJ said this in translation:
49:9. And if two parties or groups among the believers engage in fighting, then make peace between them
both. But if one of them outrages against the other, then fight you against the one that outrages till it complies with the Command of Allah. Then if it complies [and ceases outrage], then make reconciliation between them justly, and be equitable. Indeed! Allah loves those who are equitable.

And in addition, the Prophet (saw) for beleivers to stop the oppressor from oppressing.

The Prophet (saw) said (in translation) : the hadd ( prescribed punishments) is wih the hakim ( ruling authority). Thus, the ruler implements the death sentence on the Muslim who is justly convicted of a punishable sin that requires death. It is not for individuals to actually kill someone convicted of the relevant sin.

These and other texts establish that the khalifah can fight against Muslims and Muslims should support the khalifah until Justice is established, even if it means some Muslims are killed. There are conditions that justify fighting against fellow Muslims.
The previously mentioned hadith must be placed in context with other appropriate texts by an upright mujtahid in order to apply it in reality.
Allahumma, aranee al haqqu haqqan wa arzuqnee itiba`ahu, wa aranee al baatilu baatilaan wa arzuqnee ijtinaabahu.Oh Allah! show us the truth as true, and inspire us to follow it. Show us falsehood as falsehood, and inspire us to abstain from it.
" Do you know what destroys Islam? A mistake made by a scholar, the argument of a hypocrite in writing and the ruling of leaders who wish for people to stray
