  • Can you read Namaz before Azan?

Can you read Namaz before Azan? For example if Namaz was at 3.50am, can i read Fajar Namaz at 3.30?
And the situation is that you are in travel and something like that.

No prayer is valid before it's time under any circumstances.

      :salams

You can read the prayer only after its time comes in.
Secure few moments, everyday, to reflect upon the innumerable blessings of Allah and thank Him for bestowing them upon you.

"A person who is blessed with the ability to be grateful, shall never be deprived of barakah and increase in blessings."
      - Rasulullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)‎

You can pray before the azan, the azan is the call to prayer for the congregational salat at the mosque. The actual time of the prayer is due to the position of the sun. When the window opens up when the sun is at the right point you can observe your salat till the window closes for that specific prayer otherwise it becomes qadhaa.

Prayer when travelling can be shortened to two rakat but should be prayed at their respective times if possible.

If you want the official or earliest times of prayer for your location you will need to check some islamic prayer timings website that details it.

If fajr enters at 3:50 then it cannot be prayed at 3:30

However if fajr enters at say 3:20 but mosque does azan at 3:50 then no problem as you are not reading with Jamaat for a reason (reason has to be legit) eg travelling

The only times you can read namaz before its time or even after next namaz has entered is if you are a traveller combining. So Asr can be done with dhur (2 fardh for each) or dhur can be done with Asr (as I understand this is the sunnah but depends on travel and accessibility)
