  • Free Islamic Resources (Books, eBooks, Dvds, Software)

I posted this on another thread, but I thought it should be it's own thread inshaAllah.

If you want resources to learn more about Islaam, here is a list:

    http://quran.com/ and http://quran.cc/
are both online Qur'ans with multiple translations and voice readings.

    Free Qur'an software for pc : http://www.imaanstar.com/quran.php
You can read this without internet, it's a program. There are also other links to download hadith collections.

The Deen Show (deen means religion in Arabic) http://thedeenshow.com/ is a TV channel from northern US, but you can also watch it's shows online. It's great for those curious about Islaam.

HalalTube http://www.halaltube.com/ is an Islamic channel/listing of Islamic lectures.
I suggest listening to these first: http://www.halaltube.com/speaker/nouman-ali-khan
Brother Nouman is a convert as well (from atheism). He focuses on explaining how Islaam makes life among secular people much easier, and he has a particular focus on younger people (plus he's funny).

I remember saving these links two weeks ago. They are valuable resources that can benefit me & others.

ومن يتوكل على الله فهو حسبه
And whosoever puts his trust in Allah,
    Then He will suffice him.

If Allah & his Messenger :saw: ordered us to breathe in a certain way, we would say: "سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا We hear & We obey"
“Whoever turns away from my Sunnah has nothing to do with me.” (al-Bukhaari)
