  • Asking Forgiveness for another person.

I wanted to discuss the merits of asking forgiveness for someone else. Is it possible to intercede for another person who is not a family member or related by blood ties. I heard that A Hafiz-ul-Quran can intercede for 10 of his 'family members'
My question is can we intercede for someone who is not related to you in any way? Thankyou. Please bring light upon this matter.
There are gems to be discovered in Quran.

Recite :saw: when you read this sentence.

Re: Asking Forgiveness for another person.

It is a good deed for you to do dua for someone else however its more important for the person who needs the forgiveness to repent to ALLAH themselves, obviously you can help them do dua or even do dua with them not a probelm.

Personally myself I haven't herd about that intercede of 10 people.

When I do dua I pray for myself, family and friends and as well as the rest of the ummah.
