There are proofs of maliki way of salah also .

Imam Malik ( :RAA: ) lived whole life in Medina and his fiqh mostly is based on what he saw people in Medina do.

Prophet s.a.w.s. jammah in the Mosque in the Madinah were not unique how somebody want to create in present day. Prophet s.a.w.s. jammah were diverse as adored by some madhhabs of Sahabah and the Prophet s.a.w.s. had own way of salah. Sahabah r.a. had lot of maddhabs but Tabiins and Tabi Tabiins (Imams of Maddhabs) had noticed only those salah way what we have today. We had Zahiri salah way but It is diseppeared.

Essence is not in the way of salah than in use of any salah noticed from Imam of Maddhabs rahimahullah and in the Hadiths.

Prophet s.a.w.s. salah way has described in the Muwatta Hadiths like clasped hands to the forearm or chest.

Prophet s.a.w.s salah way doesn't belongs to any islamic maddhab than it is salah separately described in the Hadiths.

Maliki salah is similar of the Shia salah and it does not necessarily mean that it Prophet s.a.w.s. way of salah, but it is certainly salah way of some Sahaba r.a. and Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet's family.
Hanafi and Hanbali way of salah has taken from the tradition of some Sahabah r.a. from Iraq. Shafi'i salah has taken from some Sahabah r.a. of the Sha'am.

Maliki maddhab attracts attention beacuse some people think that's Shia salah way. But it is very interest way of salah and it is salah of the citizen of Madinah.
