Abu Dharr narrated that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahou โ€˜alayhi wa sallam) said : โ€œO Abu Dharr! When you fast three days out of a month, then fast the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth.โ€
Narrated by At-Tirmidhรฎ (nยฐ761) and An-Nasรขi (nยฐ2424) in a similar hadith.

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahou โ€˜alayhi wa sallam) said, โ€œObserving Saum (fasting) on three days of every month is equivalent to a full monthโ€™s fasting.โ€
Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
