Thanks for the mention, I do know the surah but this will be a perfect "brush up" - I'll also be able to read the tafsir. :jkk:

I actually appreciate for mentioning me.
                        Ya Allah,
Make me a stronger person today. Make me a better person out of all these. It is no longer bearable for me for my heart is aching and You are the only One who knows how I feel. Nothing is making sense to myself and for anyone else for that matter especially to the one person I wish to understand me better than anybody else.

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If any one of you is fasting, let him not utter obscenities or act in an ignorant manner, and if anyone insults him or wants to fight him, let him say, I am fasting.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1894; Muslim 1151.

Why don't you all go memorize and stop the tit for tag ....see what I did there...
“Whoever wants to purify his heart must prefer Allah over and above his own desires.” .

Hope you don't mind Capt Mario.

Just another friendly reminder to everyone to reflect on the ayat that you're learning. Even if you can't memorize it, spend time reflecting on the ayat, pondering on it, and be humbled by it's might.

I've created a separate thread where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and journey during this Ramadan Challenge.
