  • Things that have happened in my life, that show me that Allah exists

    Salam Wa Lakim,

I wanted to share some personal stories from my life with the intention of getting brothers and sisters ready for Ramadan and increasing their Dua. Especially trying to learn the Dua in the Arabic language as we know Ramadan is a blessed month and a great time for excess of Dua.

About 5 years ago when I was not practicing Islam at all I was afflicted with a Heath issue that really changed my life. I really was left with no other choice but to start practicing my religion as I found no outlet for my suffering except speaking to Allah in my prayer. I had no knowledge back then and was a complete noob when it came to Islam and even then I questioned fully whether I had conviction that Allah even exists as my affliction caused me to doubt many things and I was in contact with many disbelievers.

To put a long story short, over the years I have learned some duas from apps like MyDuaa and Hisnul Muslim on the app stores and I learned them in Arabic along with their meaning. I can say without a doubt that shocking things have happened to me that are absolutely unexplainable when I learned and kept repeating these duas along with conviction that Allah is hearing what I am saying. There are several examples in my life that have occurred but for the sake of time and space I will post 3 examples here in my personal life for motivation for people to maybe download those apps and learn the duas in Arabic and say them with conviction and without doubts in their hearts

One time I was at my work company that I had been trying to resolve an issue with regards to my pay that they seemed to always deny my request. They stated it was virtually impossible for them to fulfill what I was requesting and that I needed to stop asking. A couple years went by with no avail and I gave up until one day I decided to go in and try again. While I was sitting I said why not ask Allah to turn their hearts and give me what I am requesting. I asked for the request and they went to go speak to the supervisor to see if he could fulfill my request. As I waited in the waiting room I remembered a Dua I had learned

"Oh Allah there is no ease except that which you make easy, and if you wish, you make that which is difficult, easy."

I also added "Oh Allah, you are the turner of the hearts and everyone's forelock is in your hand"

The person came back into the office and unfortunately told me again that she could not fulfill my request, I accepted it was Allah's decree and this might not have been good for me. A few seconds later I hear the supervisor shouting from a different room letting the lady know to fulfill my request and change my pay as I had requested. It was truly a miracle because I had been trying to get this to be fulfilled for several years but I never asked Allah to help me with it. The only time I made Dua it was fulfilled within seconds, and this request seemed at the time impossible to fulfill in my mind.

Another instance is when I was struggling to find a job, I had applied to many places and did not know who was hiring and had recently learned the Dua of Musa "My Lord, indeed I am in need of whatever you send down to me of good"

That same week of repeating this Dua with the intention of finding a job and actively pursuing and applying to jobs I received 2 phone calls from extremely repeatable well paying companies. This has never happened to me before in my life where 2 reputable well paying companies have called me asking me to come in.

Another bizarre instance is when I was in Umrah in Saudi Arabia. I stayed in a not so good hotel and ended up getting extremely sick with a strep throat fever that actually nearly killed me. I tried to leave my hotel room to get to an emergency room but there was a door lock in my hotel door that was stuck. My fever was boiling and I was extremely sick and I could barely stand up. I kept trying to open the door and it would not open at all. I was yelling for someone to come and help me but because my room was far away from the lobby no one could hear me. I thought I would never get out of that room as I kept trying to open the lock over and over again but it would not budge. It must have been 10 times I tried to open it but nothing. Then I stepped back and made Dua to Allah to open the door for me and I said bismillah and the door opened smoothly and easily as if nothing was ever wrong with it.

Here are a few examples of how Allah can answer the Dua within seconds but sometimes other Dua take time to be answered so be patient.

    Barak Allahu Feikum

SubhanAllah when you fully put your trust on Him you never have to worry.

And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.

Wa feek barakAllah wa JazakAllah khayr for sharing your experiences.

bump, and say Allahumma barik for the OP!
      وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ ۚ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ - 31:19

And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys."

Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].

I once had a appointment with a specialist doctor it takes like 4 or 5 months to be seen by one for me coz they are so busy

so i had an appointment scheduled soon

i find out i failed an exam and the retake was on the same day as my appointment and it was clashing with the time

Within a short amount of time that same day i get a letter and the hospital appointment has been rescheduled

so i got to retake my exam and go to my hospital appointment alhamdullilah
