18 Days Till Ramadan 2019 In sha Allah
May Allah SWT make it easy for us all to make it to Ramadan and get through it with ease.
I'm super excited and cannot wait for the month to begin. It's like wudhu for my imaan.Raising money for Bangladesh in 2019 - www.justgiving.com/minhajul

I can't wait for Ramazan. I felt so revived during my umrah experience in December & came back as a different person. But with every passing month, my Islamic spirit kept shrinking. I really wish we have more masjids for women around me. Attending masjid & Islamic events does increase my spirit. I know many people are self starters & can self motivate themselves and hate organized classroom type events. But I am the opposite, I am not disciplined enough to self motive myself & organized event has always got me in the mood. Attending masjid and attending lectures, any place where someone else can teach me what I need to know without me doing the legwork has been my strength.
so every month my spirit kept shrinking until this month when I came down with cold and cough, which meant I gave up on everything in life & mindlessly wasted hours watching TV under the claim of "I need to relax". I am disappointed in myself and can't wait until Ramadan when I finally get to attend masjid for Tarawee & revive my spirit again.

So stoked for ramadan tbhAbu Malik at-Ash'ari reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Cleanliness is half of faith
and al-Hamdu Lillah (all praise and gratitude is for Allah alone) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah)
and al-Hamdu Lillah fill up what is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light,
and charity is proof (of one's faith)
and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you.
All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.
Reference : Sahih Muslim 223 In-book reference : Book 2, Hadith 1 USC-MSA web (English) reference : Book 2, Hadith 432 (deprecated numbering scheme)
Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].
