I pray on a towel. Prayer Matt's are to distracting for me
It may not be easy, you may not understand it, but you need to have the Imaan to trust Allah when life doesn't make sense.

But the ones with all the detail are very distracting سبحان الله

I struggle with the masjid carpets as well

Don't see why they have to be decorated so fancy

            A or C 100%. I'd go with C, seems less distracting

I like A and C, A material seems thicker and less rough on skin so A for me. Yes there's subliminal.images planted on some prayer mat these days.

Re: Which prayer mat for you prefer?

Afaik the sunnah is to use a mat made from something from the earth still in a raw state. So a reed or straw mat is what I would want but no one seems to want to sell them. I had to buy a beach mat which just doesn't stand up to that kind of wear and has shredded all over my floor.

There was something on iqra TV a few years ago where Khair Foundation (?) had a factory where they hired poor people to make this exact type of mat but didn't mention selling them here :(
