      Society says it's bad
(The hypocrites) will call the believers: "Were we not with you?" The believers will reply: "Yes! But you led yourselves into temptations, you looked forward for our destruction; you doubted (in Faith); and you were deceived by false desires, till the Command of Allah came to pass. And the chief deceiver (Satan) deceived you in respect of Allah."57:14

Secure few moments, everyday, to reflect upon the innumerable blessings of Allah and thank Him for bestowing them upon you.

Both should be shy, it's not shameful for a man to be modest an that includes a degree of shyness as well.

But islam says we should have shyness, it's all intact with the character of a muslim.

I read this story about this newly wed couple, the man and his bride stayed at the hotel the first day of their wedding , so he went to his wife and said am going down to the restaurant get ready and follow me there! anyways he left and after sometime the bride didn`t come so he went back to the room irritated and asked her why didn`t she come to the restaurant, she said........................................ " you are wearing my ABAYA"!! hahahaah .... the guy was so shy that he actually wear the abaya instead of his thowb and he didn`t notice!

*in saudi arabia and in Gulf region the groom wears something called"Bisht" which he puts it over his shoulders ) and obviously he mistaked her abaya with his bisht! LOL!

a modest individual would have an element of shyness
