their "god" certainly is, or was, not in the OT though
The deity in the OT is, to put it bluntly, Patrick Bateman if you gave him control over the universe.

Some of you are getting a little too emotional and need to pump the brakes and gear down.

The deity in the old testament/torah is Allah awj keep in mind and many of the facts related in the OT/torah are WAJIB for you to believe in.

Yes details, dates.lineages and names have been change but not that much for anyone to say it was other than Allah awj who sent Noah/nuh as,Moses/Musa as,David/Dawood as,Soloman/Sulaimen as,Jesus/Isa as and a number of other prophets as confirmed by the Qur'an. Same with the flood, the miracle of the sea parting for Musa as,the punishment of Sodom, etc.

Careful with your hatred clouding your judgement as you are comiting Kufr Akbar by disbelieving in things you were explicitly told to believe in.

And when, exactly, did the Christian Byzantines invade Egypt and force them into Christianity?

These are big claims to make, who is disbelieving and what was their statement of kufr?

It is obligatory upon the Muslim to regard the jews and christians as disbelievers and have emnity towards them, this is from walaa wal baraa and iman.

Edit: nvm i think i saw the post you were talking about lol

The books have been corrupted extensively. They go as far as to suggest that certain prophets were drunkards or committed other types of sins, and that some of them married their siblings. They also state that God needs rest.

This is a far cry from Islam, let's not give these guys too much credit.

Kafirs don't like Islam or Muslims.

I have knows this from even before i was a muslim..

My question was,if the muslim vomunity is bigger in a certain country shouldnt the kuffar then like islam more due to them seeing islam more, due to the fact more muslims can show what islam is

could some of this described anger and hatred, that people say is happening and if this anger is true, be partually originate from historical and more recent persecution of Christians at the hands of Muslims such as the attack or burning down of over 50 Christian churches and the not too distant kidnapping and beheading of Christians by certain Muslim groups be a cause?

Egypt was under the Roman empire, the Byzantines or the "Eastern Roman empire," is what led to the large growth of Christianity in the country. The fact is though, the Romans took Egypt, initially by force, had the Romans never took Egypt to begin with, their will be little to no Christianity.

You are being selective here. Egyptian Christians hatred towards Islam really became apparent during the time of the Egyptian elections. Most of the Christians in Egypt, decided to support the secular movement and even support the secular Sisi, and fight against Morsi's election, despite being fair. Bare in mind that Egypt, was a secular nationalist state, and the coptics simply wanted to keep it that way. Hence why the sectarian war that is occurring between them and Muslims today, not that I'm justifying any of the links that you posted.

That's where the main problem lies. They don't see what islam really is. They don't see the character, the dealings, the lifestyle of Nabi :saw: in the muslims (with few exception ofc). When muslims come back to deen, the situation would change, by the will of Allah.

And the ones who after experiencing the beauty of islam, still don't leave their old religion, that could be from a number of reasons, mainly, Arrogance.

(Also, there is a good side too ofc, there is effort made by the people of deen, always insha'Allah.)

                              Allahu 'Alam

It depends on the person, those who are genuine about God will be interested and convert, but many of the people (ahem today) who worship their desires will want things to stay this way despite the obvious corruption or oppression. Many claim to be "Christian," follow it by culture and don't follow it as it should. Either way, in Islam we're not supposed to force anyone into converting to Islam.
