and search google for "bible errors and contradictions"
"quran errors and contradictions" = 134,000
"bible errors and contradictions" = 683,000
Now let's calculate how many error articles Quran and Bible has per word: errors / words
    Bible: 683,000 / 774,746=0.881
    Quran: 134,000 / 80,000=1.675

Now let's do same thing in Arabic.
if I use translator and search for these terms in Arabic I see that a lot of Quran contradictions are being discussed in Arab world.
    Quran contradictions=تناقضات القرآن
    2,850,000
    Bible contradictions=تناقضات الكتاب المقدس
    119,000

    Edit:
    Few more stats.
    In English
    "Quran contradictions": 786,000
    "Bible contradictions": 5,190,000

    In Arab world Quran/Bible
    2,850,000/119,000=23.4

    in English world Bible/Quran
    5,190,000/786,000=6.6

Arabs discuss 23.4 times more contradictions of Quran than Bible.
English world discusses 6.6 times more contradictions of Bible than Quran.

And Few more other unrelated stats.

"Sex" word in English vs Arabic
    English = 494,000,000
    Arabic = 12,300,000

"Porno" word in English vs Arabic
    English 985,000,000
    Arabic 6,340,000

did you work all that out yourself? if so why?

        :rotfl:

it does make me wonder the motivation behind stuff like this though. if he/she managed to get a muslim to leave islam would they be jumping for joy? or give a evil chuckle?

just seems a complete waste of time toi me. the OP mentioned in a post in a different thread that christians do good deeds because they want to to please god, so why not use a bit of time they are wasting here and go feed some poor people or something?

but theyre muslims. they dont belive in your version of god or the bible so to quote a book that they belive lost all integrity huindreds of years ago is a bit futile i reckon.

do you think your posts are going to get someone to convert to christianity? i cant really see it happening no offence.

This topic is just too confusing and hard to prove who is right.
So I wanted to find argument that wouldn't require reading Bible or Quran and would not require looking into each contradiction claim.
Something that can be used by both sides and both sides can accept it as valid evidence of something.
I got idea how to possibly solve that problem, did a search and posted results above.
Now no one can deny knowledge in my OP and it is up to people what conclusion they make from it.

ahh then i apologise. i thought you was going somewhere else with your OP.

allthough i cant see how a thread on supposed contradictions in the bible and quran can progress without discussing said contradictions.

I don't need to discuss contradictions. I went beyond that point. I used to discuss contradictions myself and now I let people around a world to discuss them. Because people discuss contradictions it serves as evidence to me that contradictions exist in both books.
The only way it was possible to claim that contradictions don't exist if no one discussed them. However people are aggressively discussing them which is real evidence to me that contradictions exist.

Sites claiming errors in the Holy Quran & a personal question.

Alsalam Alykom, I was surfing then internet when I found sites claiming errors in the Quran: http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/Quran/ , http://www.1000mistakes.com/1000mistakes/index.php and I was shocked at how people explain certain verses in the Quran. For example: In "The Cow" God said that we shouldn't bother warning disbelievers (I understand that this is because they are disbelieving to the extent that they will never consider the right path and our efforts will be futile) but in one of those sites they regard it as an injustice because everyone deserves a chance.
Now for the personal question, I have an Atheist friend who once asked me why do I believe in God, I told him simply because nothing is created out of nothing, if there is a curtain then someone behind it must have built it, then he asked me then who created God? I told him that if one believes in God then one must believe that he can't think and understand as much as God does so there will remain some vague questions because a human simply can't think as God does. Is this the right answer for his counter question?

                          Walaikum salam,
As for the first question about warning the disbelievers do you mind qouting the verse, cause these types of people aren't the best at qouting.
If it is the verse I am thinking of then it doesn't say don't bother warning them, it says it

                          Al Baqara verse 4
Indeed, those who disbelieve- it is all the same to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe.
Which doesn't say don't try, it's more like telling you you can try but don't be surprised if they don't follow what you say.

For the second question, check out debates done by Hamza Tzortzis. He's good at debating atheist

Agreed, all they aim to do is increase doubts using lies which have been disproved many times in many places.
The more we go to those sites the higher up they move on the google search results, same goes for youtube videos.

We should all avoid clicking on them and increasing their popularity
