  • Questions to a Christian

What are some of the questions I could ask a Christian which can make them doubt their beliefs?

"Had Allah lifted the veil for his slave and shown him how He handles his affairs for him, and how Allah is more keen for the benefit of the slave than his own self, his heart would have melted out of the love for Allah and would have been torn to pieces out of thankfulness to Allah. Therefore if the pains of this world tire you do not grieve. For it may be that Allah wishes to hear your voice by way of duaa. So pour out your desires in prostration and forget about it and know; that verily Allah does not forget it."
    - Ibn al Qayyim (rahimahullah)

What if you woke up today with only the things you thanked Allah for yesterday?

If they think Jesus was divine (as God etc) who was running the affairs of the heavens and earth when he was in the womb? When Maryam alayhis salaam was pregnant with him?

All respect and of course peace and Allah's blessings on our Prophet Isa alayhis salaam too.

And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys."

Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].

Nothing. They willingly deny the truth. Your job isn't to convince them that Islam is true, your job is to just teach them about Islam. Allah is the only one who can guide their hearts.¬*

Trinity makes no sense. To them God is one but three. And they worship someone who they claim died for three days.

Anyway those questions wont be convincing at first. If you have the knowledge to refute this properly, then the first step is to listen to them, ask what led them to think Christianity was right so that you have an idea of their thought process and take it from there.

With all due respect, if you have to ask this question you need to do a lot more reading on Islam (and Christianity) before giving dawah.

We should not be lazy when it comes to dawah and use other peoples arguments without understanding them.
