  • Crazy Waswas

This is getting pathetic. I've had waswas for years and its not going away. Islam is hard enough as It is but now Allah is making it ten times harder by sending waswas. I would blame It on Shaitan but end of the day its Allah whos not stopping that bastard. My life is ruined, just cause I want to fulfil Islamic obligations. Meanwhile others who go about not praying enjoy their lives. I'm honestly fed up with this. And you can call me crazy but by the looks of it, this happens to almost every other Muslim that's why so many questions on islamqa are about waswas. Wasn't it enough for Allah to make us pray five times a day, that he had to add waswas and make even those hard as hell?

Firstly, you should sincerely repent and ask forgiveness about the way you've spoken about Allah . It is highly disrespectful, Astaghfirullah. I'm not sure if what you've said would take you out of the folds of Islam, Allahu Alam, but it's not befitting to ever speak about Allah in that manner. Don't ever repeat that again.

It's understandable that you're suffering from severe waswas which is deeply affecting your life, but you have to know that this is a test from Allah . Getting tested in this dunya can be a sign of mercy from Allah , so you could repent and turn back to Him. Even the Prophets were tested, read the story of Ayyub . Also, those Muslims who don't pray are not enjoying their lives, if anything, they're miserable. Perhaps they might get punished in the afterlife, which is much worse and nothing compared to getting tested temporarily in this life.

Reflect on the following Hadiths and try to ponder over the rewards of going through trials:

Try to read Quran regularly, say adhkar, make lots of dua and seek refuge from the Shaytan. Here's another remedy in the following Hadith:

If not mistaken, originally fifty obligatory salah a day was prescribed. Because the Prophet SAW kept asking for decrease, finally Allah SWT decreased it to five salah a day with each salah regarded as ten. So each time I feel like not offering salah (waswas or not), I remind myself that missing one salah is like missing ten. What other people do is what other people do, they will answer Allah on Judgement Day about that. Yes there are many questions about waswas online, most likely because these muslims want to perfect their worship. Why wouldn't they want to, when the first question Allah ask would be about salah? So much deception in this dunya, not to mention it's temporary. Why risk your akhira for something that will fade away sooner or later? if Allah wills it, any enjoyment you have in this dunya, will be destroyed in a fraction of a second.

          Note to mods:

Delete thread as op is using foul language to our lord.

Astaghfirullah you should not allow such loose people have their say in this manner or edit their words.

Attitude like that will never help be patient and control yourself and keep making dua.

          Peace.
Jazak Allah Khair For All Your Duas.

^^^ please take it easy on the OP he just needs some guidance. Foul language was only used in association to shaytann.

            OP,

theres no arguing the hardship going through. think of it this way way, you are stronger than most and need to be tested differently than others. pay off for sticking to ibadah during hard times will be accounted for in the end. I sincerely hope things get better for you. stay true to your haqq and hang onto deen the best you can because that's what we are supposed to do. your deen can also be used against you so learn concrete facts the best way possible and stick with them. ILM will get you through this. outside of that don't worry about what others are doing they will be held accountable for their own lives!

Allahumma ighfinihim bimma shitta (dua against a strong enemy)... pls correct me if im wrong about this

Even non-muslims go through waswasa, but they indulge it, so they ruin their lives, even though they will not show it. Because it behooves them to tell others how many people or whom they've slept with, but not to say that they got herpes, gonorrhea, AIDS/HIV etc. in the process. Why would you tell anyone of your dismays? You don't want anyone to know, but it would be unrealistic and unhuman to not have it. Why do you think there are so many casinos in the world who can keep going? If people kept doing well there, they couldn't possibly keep the casinos running, they'd run out of money. But count out how many people you've heard of who won a lot in poker or whatever, then imagine what it would take for them to be able to get that money, i.e. how many losers need to have lost there for them to be able to dole that money out, how many losers have you heard of? And that happens every day to many people. And it's not enough for an acquaintance to have lost 500 $ there once for that place to continue.
It takes willfullness to apostatize, not laziness nor weakness. Remember that.
