    Divorce and mental illness

My husband divorced me with talaq a few years back no witnesses.
We have been living apart but never remarried.

Since then doctors have been treating him with drugs for severe depression,
psychosis and paranoia amongst other things.

He seems to be more himself, at the time we did not know the extent of his illness.

Are we divorced or can we get back together if we want to?

You can't get back together unless you have married another man and consumated the marriage and for some (natural) reason the marriage ended in divorce.

Sister you must ask a sheikh or someone who studied fiqh instead intensively. You will only get opinions from laymen here as its quite a delicate issue.

      Are you in uk?

It's best you speak to an imam about your situation. Only someone who knows the entire situation can advise you.
