  • Re: What made you sad today..

    I miss Eid.

At least there's another one to look forward to, :insha:
Life's actually pretty simple: you just have to enjoy it, pray, do good, refrain from bad, and respect others. Being Muslim is not a disadvantage or an advantage - it's a responsibility.
"So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true" (Qur'an, Surah Ar-Rum - 30:60)

it was hard for me, lol I was bullied until I finished college, I was a loser. But Alhamdulillah, I'm happy.

but still I want to go back in time, it was a different kind of difficulty. I miss it.

sometimes its nice to be with others, but I don't think i'll be a good friend because it requires effort from my part. I don't want that commitment and since I don't have any friends I don't need to be committed.

regarding being compared- that's the story of my life, unfortunately
when you love your friend, it feels like no effort, trust me, they make all the troubles in the world disappear/
                      8 powerful habits to succeed

                      1. Wake up early!
                      2. Do it as soon as possible, you could die tonight so make the best of today
                      3. Remember your life is unique, don't compare yourself to others. Use that jealousy as an energy to make your life a success"
                      4. Have healthy habits. Set a time each day to exercise. Try with the mindset you're only going to do some jumping jacks for 5 seconds and the next thing you know, you're doing a workout!
                      5. Read, read, read. Ponder over the Qur'an, learn more. Put the idiot box (TV) away
                      6. Take note. Desires make slaves out of kings and patience makes kings out of slaves.
                      7. Results aren't just worldly. Results are also about perseverance, retaining dignity, being honest, being honourable, doing good unto others.
                      8. Always encourage others especially our brothers and sisters, let them know making mistakes is okay, we all make mistakes, do not ever undermine them and make them feel incompetent. This is also true for the dunya, so what if they don't get the maths sum right the first time, that is what LEARNING is.

I know how you feel sis.

Also I am getting tired of people talking about their weight and weddings. I feel like people are too self absorbed.

It's good to be on your own sometimes, but not so much so that you will forget how to interact and socialise.

Friends are not the be all and end all. There's time when I have argued with the brother, argued about Islam, and it was bad.
But try to take a moderate approach.

ok so i feel like I've started to rant on here quite a bit but cant help it, i just have these feelings locked up and i need to just let it out. I've been feeling a mixture of emotions lately........ive been feeling happy and then i feel sad because I'm not doing enough......i just want to run away somewhere away from everyone out in the open countryside or something, i just feel trapped because i feel like I'm dealing with a lot at once and juggling family responsibilities and trying to fight culture and be a good muslim, its really hard when you dont have that kind of islamic atmosphere or environment....i keep thinking about my past, feeling regret feeling guilty about everything.....because of my waswasah i feel even more down.......im finding it hard to get back into reading salah......i just want to experience that beautiful high that i had but I'm just feeling so down and low its a horrible feeling :(

i get the feeling sometimes that Allah SWT is displeased with about something, i always try my best to repent as much as i can and always ask Allah SWT to give me a sign if I'm messing up without realising. i love Allah SWT so much and want to please Him and want to get closer to him but then I'm getting lazy with salah and.........may Allah SWT guide me and grant me steadfast on His seen and forgive my sins Ameen.

please brothers and sisters in islam please remember me in your duas

                                jazakallah khair
