I don't think it's appropriate to speak to people of the opposite gender like this.

        Same to the brother.

Sitting on train and some woman telling her kids to shut up and leave her alone - not in a nice way. I know being a mum is hard job, but it does get to me when I hear some mothers talk like this to these kids.

Blood tests suggest I might be developing diabetes. It made me feel nervous I suppose and mostly thankful that Allah subhanahu gives so many people health without realising it. I also thank Allah because technically, he's giving me a chance to change my diet and exercise everyday from now on. It's a blessing. But I definitely felt sad when I heard the news ...

Heard a very disturbing story first hand.

All I will say is ladies

                  A) please please do not rush into marriage - even if the guy says I want to get married ASAP don't do it without thorough checks (as much as you can without marriage)

                  B) sometimes it's better being single - you realise all these things you complain about are the very things you'll miss one day if you're not grateful/careful

And also.. When a guy says he's 'practicing' make sure you ask him exactly what he means.
My Lord sanctify my flawed heart
As You have sanctified Your house,
Make my heart as protected and as honoured
                  In which permission of entry
Is only granted to a few,
                  Please Allah, allow my heart
To be preserved only for You.

                  ---

It hurts, to watch you leave so soon,
when I don't know, if I will ever see you again
In Jannah, we will meet

If I have ever offended, hurt or insulted you, forgive me for the sake of Allah سبحانه وتعالى‎

I find it even more upsetting when you know the person is deserving of nothing but goodness - put through so much for nothing :(

I like focusing on my own issues because I feel like I'm in control of them.. Even if I'm not lol, but it eats me inside when I think about the plights of our brothers and sisters around the world. I just saw a video posted of a bunch of Israeli people chanting "death to the arab" and these are the people who are viewed as innocent while the Palestinians are seen as barbarians and then you have the Rohingyan Muslims who are being tortured day in and day out for what? Then you have the Muslims of CAR who are being massacred and then there's morsi who's getting 20 years in prison... And that isn't even the half of it. Saudi bombing Yemen saying what they're doing is perfectly fine and " the innocent people who die will be shaheeds" it's as though they completely separated themselves from the issue. Then you have the kids who are running away to join these groups leaving their parents heartbroken. And then we have our neighbours here who could be going through their own issues and we're neglecting them.

It's so much easier to focus on my own little problems than to focus on this world as a whole.

Ibn Umar was asked, ďDid the sahaba laugh?Ē He said, ďYes, and the faith in their hearts was like mountains.Ē
