My experience in Bangladesh was nowhere near bad but still bad enough, my two sisters had it the worst as they were of marriageable age (in their teens).

The gang leader would start singing Bollywood songs and there was a hill next to our house where they would try to get a glimpse of us
I never thought much of it, never bothered me, though I assume women don't handle it as well. They do circumcision here in Canada, but I don't think its standard after birth, but idk I think its something in Bengali culture, you know they call it moosalmani, my parents wanted me to get it done back in Bangladesh, something about my grandparents being there too, I don't understand it myself because no one was there during the operation either, and my grandparents never talked about it much aside from my grandma getting some scissors and threatening me she'd do it herself, I didn't get a party, so I have no idea.

Ya whats up with that, I heard people saying the incident was on the 14th, but she posted a selfie on the 15th, and then talked about the incident later, or something. I didn't really see much of the video so idk if it looks fake, but how do you fake something liek that?

The posts said that she was there with some men and that they were all part of a team who started it all off.

              • couldnt stop myself

bought the 1tb sn850. Comes with a free heatsink - i will need to assemble it myself

Will stick with the 1TB for a couple of years and then wait a couple of years before getting a 4tb drive

hopefully the prices wont be as ridiculous as they are now. The price you have to pay new technology

I can't adopt again from the same place, looking elsewhere but rules are stringent about hamster keeping (need to prove you're working, prepared hamster home or else they won't hand you)

                          What are you keeping?

One thing I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt is that your average NHS doctors will not help you. At best they might run a set of standard tests (testing for anemia, giving inaccurate thyroid tests and a few other things)- then they will say there's nothing wrong with you and your health is fine, or they will just say some generic rubbish like drink more water, eat more fibre/fruit/veg or exercise more. You'll try that, find that it only makes you feel worse then they'll blame you for feeling that way and start asking "are you depressed or anxious" and try to fob you off with some anti depressant or appointment with a shrink.

I have serious doubts that mainstream private medical tests would help as they work from the same playbook but are just faster and efficient at giving results cos you paid more. At the beginning, I would still recommend going to the doctor just to rule out some common conditions that could cause these symptoms for example vitamin D deficiency, vitamin b12 deficiency, anemia etc. My hunch is in your case anemia is not the root of what you're suffering from, but it is part of the whole, it is a symptom of an underlying problem. Iron tablets didn't suit me either, it was having an adverse effect on my digestion and I wasn't processing food properly and the bloating and stomach issues added to the overall ill feeling on top of the extreme fatigue and muscle weakness. It reached a point where my hands were too weak to peel a banana or open a packet of crisps. Eventually a number of radical changes to my diet (eliminating 'trigger foods' that tended to worsen my symptoms such as gluten, corn, mushrooms, most fruits and a few other things as well as taking supplements that aided digestion) all contributed to better regulation of my digestion, alleviating my stomach issues AND ended up healing my anemia cos my anemia was a symptom not the root problem in itself. It healed the anemia cos the digestion disruption was preventing the body from absorbing nutrients properly (and the main nutrient deficiency we're tested for is iron so they don't realise it's a sign of an overall picture of other nutrient deficiencies as well), so better digestion meant better nutrient absorption which meant I no longer needed iron tablets (i take a multi mineral but the iron level is very low and manageable in that).

An alternative practitioner that might help would be a good herbalist or in Pakistan people turn to "hakeems" who are also very good at this. They spend more time trying to find out what your symptoms are and prepare a remedy that's individually tailored to your needs. If I were in your shoes, I'd try to find a good low dose vitamin d supplement and vitamin b12 as deficiencies in both are associated with pains, excess fatigue and a few other things. DO NOT EXERCISE, it will only make you worse. At most you can walk sometimes to a manageable extent to keep a bit flexible or small light movements but that's it. If you have joint or muscle pains then massaging black seed oil on the area can help. Be aware of your environment and other symptom triggers for example: do you feel doubly exhausted due to stress? Arguing? Eating the wrong thing? Noise and lighting? Poor sleep? Bowel issues? Pain? Wearing less comfortable shoes/clothes?

So glad I've met you on here, someone that understands, one of my sister has similar problems so she can empathise but we're hopeless

Everyone else sings the same song making it sound like it's an easy to fix problem with diet and exercise

Diet can be much better but I do feel like everything I'm eating is just passing out and not absorbing into my blood
ideally, don't want to waste my money on check ups if it will be the same checks, I was told before that the same surgeons/doctors who work for private health care also work for the nhs, I always thought medics do one, not both because of time and demands

Some days are fine, I just feel extreme fatigue so after work I like to isolate and unwind because I have no
energy to socialise or talk, had to take day off because I couldn't move with this pain on hip, I'm not sure if it could be sciatica or something but the pain hasn't gone away, it's the first that I've had it go on for the whole day, one minute sharp pain, the next it eases up and manageable but very unpredictable

I Know I can do better at things but my drop in energy causes loss of concentrate and I can go to sleep during the day, I have stopped learning because I switch off quick

I could get up and walk later on today Alhamdulillah but if my body gets too stiff, I'll have to call an ambulance, a bit worried about how they will treat me though and what type of doctor will check me, I've met people who have had taken their cases to court due to negligence, it scares me as the NHS has changed alot, I don't want them to make a mistake but at the same time, they are the only ones that I can go for help

would like it if my parents supported me but I don't feel safe with herbalists, many years backs when my other sister was younger, she had some health problems and my parents spent alot of money on this herbalist, it didn't work and now they don't encourage it at all and that has convinced me even though I'd still think about it as an option

Also neelu, I will edit this post incase you quote me, I feel like I've shared alot, I'll check the thread later if you do reply back, might take the discussion elsewhere

lmao, no theres no party , im just saying the way they were hyping it up I though there would be. I don't think my parents intended on not doing it as soon as I was born, it just didn't happen, and then when I was 5 they thought it was time, and that it'd probably be a good idea to do it when I visit relatives in Bangladesh for some reason.
