Murad IV - Conquest of Baghdad (HD)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-_NuRDsDu8
This video is a re-creation of events during the Ottomon-Safavid War of 1623-39.
The background is that the Ottomon Empire was busy fighting in Europe the Shia Iranian Safavi Empire saw a opportunity and attacked in the Middle East.
They took over Iraq, and parts of Georgia and Azerbaijan and but ran into local resistance as they got deeper into the Sunni heartlands and this slowed the Safavid advance.
Meanwhile the Ottomons made a diplomatic alliance with the Sunni Mughal Empire as they also feared the Safavids in the East.
The Ottomons launched a grand campaign which went on for some years with changes of leadership on both sides, and territory being won and lost on both sides. Iraq changed hands a few times between the rival empires. Finally the 17th Caliph and Sultan of the Ottomon Empire Murad 4th launched a decisive effort that resulted in the capture of all the previously lost territory as well as Iraq and Baghdad by the Ottomons. Separately the Mughals also captured Kandahar (in modern Afghanistasn) in the East.
This decisive Ottomon Victory basically set the borders up until modern times.
