            ohhhh I think I get it lol :p
            I looked 2 find another meaning for Qaala, now it all makes sense :p

            Qaala can mean this aswell
            أَخَذَ قَيْلُولَةً
            so...

            Who said "Allah took a midday nap", was a disbeliever

                    on the course I was just on we learned about the verse in the Qur'an that says Allah does not sleep :up: masha'Allah....... though I forgot which one it was cause we leared quite a lot of stuff

                        yep that's the one..... there was another one that is a set of ayas that's known by a different name one verse is about not "tying your hand to your neck" (being miserly in charity) or "reaching your hand too far" (being so generous you risk making yourself destitute) - this verse was revealed to Muhammad :saw: after he gave the shirt off his back to a boy who asked for it and was worried cause he had no shirt. We looked at the reason for revelation for three verses in this set of ayas but that is the one I remember best. THat was in the lectures about tafseer I think...
