Re: How to type Arabic
For typing arabic without having to learn arabic keyboard layouts, lexilogos has a good online arabic keyboard which maps sound alike english letters to arabic equivalents. A few letters, and all the vowel markings are unmapped, so some clicking would be required in these cases.
If you want to learn touch typing with an arabic keyboard layout, you can try http://www.makinghijrah.com/arabic-typing/. This site has lessons to help you learn the keys and get you typing without looking. It follows a similar method as most english keyboard typing training programs would.
