you can say ila Ahmed or li Ahmed, a3aTa takes both :D
dhakiyya 4 dual i thnk jst take the singular "ukht" (not the plural)and add either "aani" for if the thing is the subject (marfoo3) or if its th object or something 2 normally take a fatha or kasra as case ending u add "ayni"
so u get ukhtaani, or ukhtayni = 2 sisters
well that's what I would have thought until class yesterday when we did dual and plural of brothers which was and not at all regular ........ but she didn't say the dual of sisters, just that the plural was ukhwat or something cause like bint --> binaat you get rid of the t before putting on the feminine plural ending but I really can't remember so I'm sure you are right!
though I don't really understand the Arabic on any of the buttons :( except the one that says tarjim/tarjama (dunno how the vowel marks go but it means "translate" :)
yep, i agree (regarding "must"), so i guess I'll just put it behind since i don't really understand it
and yes, you're right about the plural of ukht and bint = ukhawaat and binaat. (You get rid of the taa at the end of each.) Also, anna is right about the dual form.. indeed you take the singular, and add "ayn" to make it dual when it comes to converting a feminine noun. Some more examples:
