Was it too difficult? Perhaps, you might find it helpful later in your Arabic study.

            Re: Arabic Watsapp Group

I find whatsapp groups a real big fitnah and distractions even ones where its sisters only.

Im only part of one, and thats for the class I teach and pretty much only I post in.

I later realised that being part of a mixed group, that was so large and so active would be at the detriment of so many other things...so I left.

I don't think it's appropriate to have brothers and sisters on the same Whatsapp group.

Brothers should teach brothers and sisters teach sisters :insha:

Someone showed me a screenshot of the group and there were too many ":D" and ":D" being used between brothers and sisters.

I realize it's a good effort and convenient to learn Arabic, but we still need to be mindful of free-mixing. :insha:

                :jkk:
Yes you are right, I didn't realise there was free mixing though
There's no way I missed all the :) and stuff, someone is exaggerating, I will change it though

Ameen, I think it was the focus on grammar in the Madina Book, that used to make me lose my attention in class.
                  I found it boring-__-
I learnt basic Arabic just from being around Arab brothers and when travelling in the ME.
I think this maybe why I'm enjoying Bayna Yadayk.
Learning vocab is definitely fun and more engaging.

As I mentioned before, each to their own, some of my friends prefer Madina book and others prefer Miftah.

I'm of the opinion that the issue of freemixing in the Whatsapp group needs to be rethought, considering that:

                    1. This is for the sake of seeking islamic knowledge.
                    2. No khalwah (a man and a woman being alone).
                    3. No chance of looking at each other.

I'm on a strict time management regiment and have to limit my time online. Therefore I have to reply selectively. Please don't be offended if I ignore your questions. :jkk:
