    Re: tips for learning arabic

I sincerely advice those that are learning arabic to consider one of two methods.

The first being the grammar and sarf method memorising rules and reading a lot whilst learning these sciences

or the more popular route to learn basics of the language increasing in vocabulary and slowly immersing oneself into grammar and sarf.

I studied through the first method commonly known as the Ajami method as majority of muslim non-arabs learn like this apart from the Mauritanians.

I also advice the brothers and sisters to use as much of their time as possible devoted to learning arabic.

@Abu Rambo my beloved brother i advice that you focus on your arabic studies follow a strict timetable and do not deviate from it.

Strict timetables are not static but dynamic dont do the same each day so if you did sarf today only review the next day dont start a new lesson. do Nahw the following day.

also do not box yourself in , planning every minute is not healthy. but rather work by a hour in class=at least a hour outside of class.

now if you add your memorisation of the quran for those who are studying abroad or in the West. you have yourself a complete busy day. yet enough time for every day things like socialing and other things.

Again these are only advices nothing is set in stone arabic is a simple language but its a vast ocean and requires a few years of intensive study.
