But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful.

And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' "

Do you not see how Allah has made what is in the heavens and on the earth useful to you, and has lavished His blessings on you both outwardly and inwardly? Yet some people argue about Allah, without knowledge or guidance or an illuminating scripture.

                -Sura Luqman, Ayah 20

O mankind, remember Allah’s blessing upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who gives you provision from the sky and the earth? There is no god but He. So, to where are you being turned around (by your desires)?

                  -Sura Fatir, Ayah 3

We gave wisdom to Luqmān, and said, “Be grateful to Allah;” and whoever is grateful is, in fact, grateful for his own benefit, and whoever is ungrateful, then Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise.
