  • Fruits of knowledge

Couldn't find a thread and too lazy to search for one about random Islamic knowledge so I'm starting one :insha:

    Here's the first Hadith:

The Noble Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم forbade getting up from a meal, until such time that the food has been lifted (from the eating cloth)
    [Ibn Majah]

In 558, Imam Nuruddin Zungi who rests here saw the Prophet :saw: in a dream who told him that his Rauda was under attack. He went to Madinah and caught men who had dug a hole close to the grave. He entered the hole and saw the feet of the Beloved and kissed them. صلى الله عليه و سلم

Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"Whosoever saw me in his dream shall see me with his waking eyes, and the devil cannot impersonate me."
      [Sahih Muslim]

Imam Bukhari narrates a hadith about ibn Umar and/or ibn Abbas getting cramp in the leg. They then proclaimed, 'Ya Muhammad' and it was immediately better.

The wahabi will say the hadith is weak.

Ok, fine. Let's accept it's weak for a moment.

But, O wahabi! Don't you see that Imam Bukhari devised a chapter name for this hadith: 'What one says if one feels a cramp in his leg'.

These hadith masters are making such ahadith the basis of recommending actions!

Prophet is not be considered like "Ourselves"

There is another absurd belief which is present among the people who are minority in number, is that they consider Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم to be like any other normal Human Being. Now let us see what Qur'an has to say in this regard.

The Qur'an states; Deem not the summons of the Messenger among yourselves “LIKE THE SUMMONS OF ONE OF YOU TO ANOTHER” Allah عزوجل doth know those of you who slip away under shelter of some excuse: then let those beware who withstand the Messenger's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous penalty be inflicted on them [al-Qur'an 24:63]

Imam as-Sawi explained in his super commentary on the Tafsir al-Jalalayn that this is a prohibition from calling the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم by saying; "O Muhammad" or "O Abu al-Qasim" and that he should be called upon with veneration, honour, and respect by saying instead "O Messenger of Allah" or "O Prophet of Allah عزوجل" or "O Leader of the Messengers" and the like. He said that the verse tells us that it is not permissible to call the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم in any manner that does not imply veneration, and that this applies both during his life and after his departure from this world.''
[Imam as-Sawi رحمه الله in Hashiyat as-Sawi 'ala Tafsir al-Jalalayn, 3:149]

☆ His Sweat Is Our Perfume ﷺ ☆

Umm Salaim RadiAllahu Ta'ala Anha reported Rasul'Allah ﷺ visited her house and she spread a peice of cloth for Hazoor Paak Salalahu Alay Wa Alihi Wasalam and he had a siesta on it. He sweated profusely and she collected his sweat and put in perfume bottles.
