You can do two things with your life,
    1. Invest it in doing what will please Allah
    2. Waste it doing your own desires.
The sunnah is like the ark of Noah, whoever embarks upon it reaches salvation and whoever refuses is drowned.

“Waswaas is something that happens to everyone who turns to Allaah in Dhikr. It will inevitably happen to him. So he should be steadfast and remain patient, and persist in his Dhikr and prayer and not give up, for, by persisting in it he will foil the plot of the Shaytaan and, ‘ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaytaan.’ [Surah an-Nisa 4:76]

"If you had any value for your own tears you would let them flow in front of Allah and not the people. If you had any value for your heartbreak you would let Allah mend it and not the people. If you had any value for your time you would only spend it in remembrance of Allah not the people ....and if you had any value for yourself you would only give yourself to Allah...and not the people"

Ibn ‘Abbās (radi Allahu anhu) said,

“Reflecting about good, encourages deeds, while remorse for evil leads to giving it up. When the concern and desire of a slave is directed towards Allāh, Mighty and Majestic, Allāh makes his silence reflection (tafakkur) and his speech praise (ḥamd).”

When you get less, you want more but when you lose everything, you realize little was enough...Say Alhamdulillah for whatever you have.

              This is very poignant.

We spend our whole life worrying about

                "What will People Say!"

                And finally, people just say

                إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون

Abdullah narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him ) said:

'Whoever has a speck of pride (arrogance) in his heart, shall not be admitted into Paradise. And whoever has a speck of faith in his heart, shall not be admitted in to the Fire.'" He said: "So a man said to him: 'I like for my clothes to be nice, and my sandals to be nice?' So he said: 'Indeed Allah loves beauty. But pride is refusing the truth and belittling the people.'"

It's easy to criticize, condemn & complain. Many love doing this. But it takes a good soul to build others up, show kindness & compassion.
