What Allah has forbidden can never bring you joy.
The sunnah is like the ark of Noah, whoever embarks upon it reaches salvation and whoever refuses is drowned.

'Umar ibn AbdulAziz used to say to his soldiers, "You must fear disobeying Allah more than you fear your enemy. If you do not, then Allah will forsake you." And there is nothing our attackers can do that will be worse than the loss of nearness to Allah.

“Sharpen the mind, harden the body, soften the heart, and be of service to others.” – a motto for the believer, by AbdelMalik Ali.
“Mu'min” is more that just a title. It is to have Imaan established in the heart and testified to by the limbs.
