  • “Do not look at a man’s prayers nor his fasts, rather, measure him by how well he deals with others, the compassion he shows his fellow man, his wisdom and his integrity.” — Umar ibn al Khattab (radhi’alla anhu)
The sunnah is like the ark of Noah, whoever embarks upon it reaches salvation and whoever refuses is drowned.

    • The ibtilaa’ (testing) of the believer is like medicine for him. It cures him from illness. Had the illness remained it would destroy him or diminish his reward and level (in the hereafter). The tests and the trials extract these illnesses from him and prepare him for the perfect reward and the highest of degrees (in the life to come).”
      -Ibnul Qayyim

                              • I am always shocked to discover how many people believe that hardships are a punishment from ALLAH!

When people face tests or see others facing tests, they assume Allah must be angry with them.
                                SubhannAllah!

Remember which people were tested the most: The Prophets! And they were the closest to Allah.
