      The Sahaba (radiAllahu anhum) used to cling to the Sunnah just because it was Sunnah
      Today we abandon the Sunnah, just because it's Sunnah.

              subhanALLAH. Thought popped into my head. People sometimes might be dubious about this concept of barakah in time and barakah in people. Today we've got all the facilities and the books and knowledge is available. But back in the days, their tools were pots of ink and their hands, no printing press, no laptops yet the knowledge we have is the sadaqah of teh knowledge they had. How much barakah must be in the time and hands of our Predecessors taht they conveyed and preserved so much for us and we, having the means, struggle. subhanALLAH.

                Great point.

                They had none of the facilities that we had...yet, they had the same 24 hours that we do. SubhanAllah.
