These beautiful hadiths shows us the perfect morals and behaviours of our Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him.

We may proudly call ourselves upon the deen of Islam..

But how many of us turn away from our neighbour's problems and abandon smiling and even merely saying "Good morning!"- Just because they are of a different religion

"Oh but they are disbelievers, who cares?"

But did you know that the Prophet PBUH was gentle, respectful and kind to his neighbours?

How many of you would come into the house of a non-Muslim neighbour, especially if your neighbour was Jewish?

(I see too many anti-Semitic comments from Muslims generally, its not even directed just at the oppression of the Israeli government etc)

And what if your neighbour had only a little bit of food or some food that wasn't fresh?

The sunnah dictates that we accept their invitation and treat them with kindness. It does not even have to be a Dawah opportunity.

Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbor to his side goes hungry.”

The commander of the faithful, Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, passed by an old man among the non-Muslim citizens who

was going from house to house begging for charity.

Umar said, “We have not been fair to you, that we take tribute from you in your youth and now you are helpless in your old age.”

Then, Umar ordered for him to be given money from the public treasury to meet his needs.

          Surah Baqarah verse 47:

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you to the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of your time period, in the past).

Remember that the Jews were the people who were preferred by Allah, before we ever existed

Before jumping into what the Bani Israel did wrong, remember the Jewish believers of the past

who supported Musa Alayhis salaam, and

Recall how Musa alayhis salaam stood up to the wicked Pharoah

          Allah said in His Qur'an:

          Surah Taha verse 56:

And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [ Allah ]."

I am just uncomfortable with people using Islam to propagate racist and hateful words.

We should be passionate and condemn the Israeli gov and their actions as much as possible - this is what all Muslims should do and what a lot of non-Muslims do too,

Everyone should speak up for the Palestinians.

Despite being our sisters and brothers in faith,

They are also the children of Adam, which is why a lot of people from different nationalities support the cause of the Palestinians.

So I hope we can all now on, in sha Allah, speak and act for the sake of Allah

If we see injustice, we now can speak up in the way of Allah - in sha Allah

That means no hate speech - which means no racist insults and not degrading others just cos of their faith.

Ya Allah guide us to uphold the morals of the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, ameen, and make us follow the patterns of his noble companions:
          Abu Bakrah reported:

Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, passed by the door of some people, over which was an old blind man asking for charity.

Umar tapped him on the shoulder from behind and he said, “From which people of the Book are you?”

The man said, “I am a Jew.”

Umar said, “What has forced into what I see here?”

The man said, “I am begging so I can pay tribute, for my needs and my old age.”

Umar took him by the hand, went with him to his house, and he offered him something from the house.

Then, he sent him to the public treasury and he said,

“Look at this man and his taxes!

By Allah, we have not been fair to him that we have eaten and then abandoned him in old age,

‘Verily, charity is for the poor and the needy’ (9:60).

The poor are the Muslims and this man is among the needy from the people of the Book.”

And Umar exempted him from paying tribute and from his taxes.

Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by a mixed gathering of Muslims and Jews and he greeted them all with peace.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Cleanliness is half of faith

and al-Hamdu Lillah (all praise and gratitude is for Allah alone) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah)

and al-Hamdu Lillah fill up what is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light,

and charity is proof (of one's faith)

and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you.

All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.
