As-Salaamu Alaykum,
While conducting research for a translation that will be published soon, in sha' Allah, I came across this book [in Arabic] called "The Book of Signs and Lessons" by a 9th century Hijree Palestinian scholar named Ghars ad-Deen Ibn Shaheen.
The book is extremely interesting because it basically consists of a long list of possible things that a person can see in their dreams/visions and both the positive and negative things they can signify.
It is significant because, unlike the Book of Dreams wrongly attributed to Muhammad bin Sireen, this book appears to be legit and an important compilation of information on dreams and their significance.
Of course I spent the better part of this morning telling my family what their dreams have meant according to this manual. My family dreams of a lot of rivers and teeth falling out...
