Good question. I would have to research that.
The Prophet s.a.a.w warned when he said: "You will surely follow the ways of those who came before you, in exactly the same fashion, to the point were they to enter the hole of a lizard, you too would enter it." It was asked of him, "O Messenger of Allah s.a.a.w., do you mean the Jews and Christians?" He replied, "Who else?" (Bukhari and Muslim)

I don't think it would work on me. But if it did, I would want to be hypnotized to hate all haram things and to find sugar disgusting.

Whether it's Halal or Haraam I wouldn't recommend it. Being in a state "Deep Sleep/Trance" is not safe nor Islamic. We never clear our minds except that we replace negativity with Dhikr.

I personally have a terrifying Jin related experience with hypnosis. So yeah, I would definitely advise you to reconsider if you were planning on it.

then i woke up everyones looking at me

Long story short, I became addicted to the process of falling into Deep Trance. You could say that I was on the verge of mastering self-hypnosis.

This eventually led to some very dark experiences. The worst of which was feeling an entity within me after a session, quite literally forcing my hands and fingers to twirl and cring. Another night, I couldn't go to sleep without waking up screaming at what felt like a bird was attacking me under the sheets.

Perhaps I was losing my mind, I don't know. However, I have no difficulty associating these events with the Jin. Jins exist and I was basically opening up myself to them without taking any precaution.

Mind you, this was a very long time ago. Lol
