People who are proper into this stuff have a certain style when they talk to each other which can differ when they engage with 'outsiders' that don't get it.

People claim sihr/possession and use it as an excuse as if they're not responsible for their speech and actions.

Curious as to how people that have suffered for years become experts on these subjects despite their own lack of success.

...or, more accurately, to have judgments waived.

                  That's harsh.

They may have lack of success, but that is by the Will of Allaah. It doesn't mean they themselves are doing anything wrong.

I'd say they are experts, moreso than you and I, who have never been through such an affliction.

Does this "Anyone" have a particular username on here?

It is difficult to engage them on any level without activating some kind of trigger for their issues.

Perhaps that is because another common characteristic of people with psychoses is gravitation towards religious iconography and subjects.

Even when exercising "awareness" in dealing with mentally ill or Jinn-afflicted individuals, very little can be done to not trigger them short of agreeing with everything they say or encouraging them in their delusions.
                      Interesting points.

Experts based on what? Every single person I know, without exception, with long term problems, goes from one pir to the next, one raaqi to another, this taweez then that, etc. They are not experts by any stretch of the imagination.

It's not limited to users on Ummah Forum.

                          (See above.)

                            Catch-22.

Experts on the experience of being possessed.

The reason they go from one person to another, is because they are desperate to be cured.

It's not easy going through life with issues that others will never understand.

Anecdotal evidence of the unseen doesn't count for much. Being an expert of your own experiences isn't the same as being an expert on a topic.
