  • The significance of seeing animal species in the dreams of the possessed person.

Up on request from members who asked about the types of animals that the jinn takes their form when he comes in dreams ,I will try to shade some light on this topic so the patients will know what type of jinn possess them and his religious .Knowing this information will help a lot in diagnosis of the situation and this will help a lot in finding the right Ayat and suwar which can effect the possessed jinn and then choosing the right treatment for each case. The subject is wide and it will be on several posts if the time allows.

1- The Jinn who comes in the form of human man or woman.

There is a lot of occasions were the Jinn comes in the form of human being in the dreams of the effected person , the shape whom the Jinn comes in its form might be a relative who is familiar to the effected person or in some cases he will come in a form of a person who is not known to the effected person at all, I will explain this later.

Usually the Lover Mess or what is called the Mess of Eshiq is the one who comes in the form of a human to the effected person in a familiar form and the reason is to gain the confident of the effected person ,for example the Jinn lover will come to the woman in her dreams in the form of her husband if she is a married one so she will relaxed and do not resist when he try to have an intercourse with her in her dreams because she will think that she is having a good dream involving her husband. Or if she is not married he will come in the form of an actor who the victim admire or in the form of a person who the victim has a crush on , all these tactics has one goal and that is to make the effected person relaxed and calm, and confident so the Jinn will fulfil his desire without any resistance .

Sometimes the Jinn will come in the form of a father or a brother to comfort the victim or the effected person to gain his or her trust. Sometime the Jinn will come to the effected woman in her dreams in the form of a woman and this will happen several times in the dreams in order to gain the effected woman trust and when this happens the jinn will have an intercourse with this woman and the victim will feel in her dreams the whole intercourse feelings as it is happening between a man and a woman, which makes her very surprised and dazzled about what happen, this situation can repeat several times specially if the Jinn feels that the effected woman began to enjoy it.

The same can happen to the opposite sex which is the man and in this case the Jinn lover will be a woman Jinn and in rear cases it will be a man Jinn. The woman Jinn will start to appear to the effected man in the form of a beautiful girl like an actress or any other form of a beautiful woman in order to lour him to have intercourse with her in his dreams, this scenario will happen a lot specially if the victim is a bachelor and not married, and if he is married she will come to him in his wife form to reduce his resistance and do what she wants with him.

Also the Jinn can come in the form of a human to the effected person in the case of revenge. In this case the effected person will see in his dreams a person who he do not know attacking him and hitting him in different parts of his or her body and in a lot of cases the effected person will feel the pain in his body during his dreams and when he wakes up he will see in many cases mark son his skin.

The Jinn which is called the Marid ( a level of Jinn powerful than the normal Jinn) might come in the form of a human being to the effected person, and one of the favourite form the Marid takes is the form of a Chaplain which means he is a christen Marid came through Siher, Usually this type of possession can be defeated by reciting the Ruqyah with the Ayatt of Siher in addition to reciting Surat Al Emran.

    2- The snake

The snake is one of the common shapes that the Jinn takes while invading the dreams of the effected person. Usually this Jinn who takes this form is a servant for the Siher, that means he came because of a Siher done on the effected person . If the effected person sees this snake wrapped around his feet or legs ,that means he is already possessed by this Jinn. If he sees this snake following him from far ,that means the Jinn is still outside the body and he is waiting for the right moment to enter. If the size of this snake is large this indicates that this Jinn is from a high rank . If the snake had wings that means the Jinn is from the flying type (Jinn who lives in the filthy places like the bathrooms). If the snake crawls on the ground that means the Jinn is from kind who walks on the earth like The Ommar who lives in houses. If the snake has a peach black colour, that means the Jinn is a Jew or if the snake has a human face that also means he is a Jew Jinn. If the snake colour is yellow ,that means the Jinn is a Christian Jinn ,while the white Jinn is a Muslim Jinn ,for that reason it is recommended not to kill any white snake in the Hanafyah Methhab.

      3- The Camel

Seeing the Camel in the possessed person's dreams is an indication that this person is possessed by a Marid ( a Jinn of a higher rank ) and this Marid is from the very high level of Maradah.
If the possessed person sees the Camel running after him in the dream, this indicates that the Marid or the Jinn is still outside the body and trying to enter the body, if this is the scenario, then the
patient should start reading the Adhkar and increase the times he reads Surat Al Baqarah to increase his tahseen and protection, because while the Marid is still outside the body ,it is much easier
to do the treatment and get the cure. In case the Camel reached the patient and bit him ,this will indicate that the Marid succeeded in entering the body and the treatment in this case will be harder
and needs a longer time to reach the final cure.

      4- The Horse,

Seeing the Horse in the dream indicates that the Jinn is from the normal type and his presence is not due to Siher but it is due to other reasons like revenge because the human done some act
which effected this jinn or one of his family like the himan throughs himself on the bed suddenly without saying the Basmallah and one of the jinn was sitting on the bed and got hurt due
to this action so he will try to revenge, or jumping from a high place to the ground without saying the Basmmallah and he will hurt un intentially a jinn sitting in this place which leads to a revenge,
This type can be cured with the reading of the general Ruqyah along with surat Al Baqarah ,Surat Yaseen and doing the Bath daily with salted water.

      5- The Wolf

Seeing the Wolf in the dream indicates that the Jinn is from the vicious type but it has a lack of patience. and the Raqi can use this information to put a pressure on this type of Jinn and torture him
with the Ayatt of torture to force him to leave the body, one of the ways which is found to be very effective against this type of Jinn is to put a pressure on the back of the patient's head ,this move
have a great torture effect on this type of jinn and will force him to leave the body fast, then the patient will be given adhkar for protection and advised to read the Ayatt of the cure ( Shifah) in a
cup of water and drink it 3 times a day, all this is to prevent the return of this Jinn to the body, also it is advised to close the body's opinings by reading surat Yaseen on olive oil and the patient will
wipe all of his body one time a day before bed time.

6- The Fish and sea creatures

Seeing fish or any sea creatures indicates that the invader Jinn is from the divers type which lives in the sea or rivers water as well in the sewer. This type of Jinn usually come due to the Siher
entered the body by drinking or what is called the Siher of drinking, and it was found in some cases that this Jinn comes also due to revenge due to throwing water on him in the bathroom
suddenly without any warning. If this Jinn came due to the Siher of drinking ,then he will be treated by cleaning the patient's body from that Siher and trying to make the patient vomit the Siher and
by doing this it will weaken the connection between the Jinn and the body of the possessed person ,then he will be kicked out by using the Ayatt of torture to expel him outside the body. And
If he came through revenge ,then you will use the same reconditions given in paragraph number 4 in the case of the horse.

      7- The Monkey

Seeing the Monkey in the dream indicates that the Jinn is from the unique level of Maradah and a very high rank ,higher than the Camel level of Maradah. This type of Jinn usually comes due to
a Siher done to the patient, If he comes in a big form like a gorilla ,it means he is a Mared from a very high rank and he serves a Siher, and if he comes in a normal size Gorilla ,then he is from
the intermediate or mid level of Maradah .
This type of possession can be treated by having a dialogue with this Marid and reminding him with the judgment day and he will be standing between the hands of Allah, subhanehu wataallah and
will be asked about his oppression and Injustice against this human, also this type of Maradah is very effected and can be weekend by the Do'aa and the Dihker.

Could it be that the jinn seem to take up appearances according to the region one is located in?

For example a person in the middle east would be more likely to see a camel in his dreams than a person living in europe, where cats and dogss are more reported in dreams of people who suffer from the occcult.

        Barakalahoefiek.

        Wa salaam
And the thunder exalts [ Allah ] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah ; and He is severe in assault

Not ,it dose not work like this. In case of the Siher the Saher choses the level of Jinn who is going to do the work based on the level of harm he wants to do to the targeted person, because every level of jinn have different capabilities.
The same is applied for the Mess which is usually carried out by normal jinn and in some cases a high level jinn, this can be seen in the cases of the Mess of love.

You should look at it not geographically but look at it from the level because every area in the world it has jinn occupying it and each group of these jinn has the low level which appears like dogs, cats .....etc and a high level like camels .

                  Bismillah
                  As salam alaikum

How much of this is conjectural speculation, and how much of it is objectively observable, and what is based on Divine Texts?

There should be clear delineations between the Divine textual statements regarding dreams, and the speculative views of an interpreter, which may or may not be correct, but could still be helpful.

There are three types of dreams according to Divine Texts: “rahmaani” (those that come from Allaah), “nafsaani”(psychological, they come from within a person) and “shaytaani” (those that come from the Shaytaan). This is based on the narration in which the Prophet (saws) said: “Dreams are of three types: a dream from Allaah, a dream which causes distress and which comes from the Shaytaan, and a dream which comes from what a person thinks about when he is awake, and he sees it when he is asleep.” (sahih Bukhari/Muslim)

It is possible animals inside of a dream are one of the three, not necessarily only Shayateen jinn. Muslims should beware of conclusively describing certain dream animals as jinn or shayateen without Divine Texts to conclusively establish this.

Islam is separate and distinct from pagan mushrikeen religions in which elite and deviant men have ascribed religious, even holy meaning to certain creatures who are nothing but creatures who submit to Allah. This evil plot of evil mudilleen men have consistently incorporated animals from their local areas into their shirk beliefs not because those animals are jinn, but because those evil men knew only about those animals.

I raise this because some of what Abu Mohammad has said about dream animals being jinn, or certain ranks of jinn being certain species, sound inconsistent with reality and lack Daleel to support this claims.

Having studied some mushrikeen religions in the past, I know that animals of a particular region play a major role in how humans altered or invented their mushrik beliefs. Take for example, Japan.

For centuries, Japan and Japanese culture and civilization were isolated and insular, even xenophobic in opposition to all outsiders. Japanese people knew almost nothing about other parts of the world, never travelling or even meeting other people, let alone seeing animals of other regions. Their native mushrik religion was Shintoism which incorporates invented doctrinal beliefs that include monkeys, bear, men, fish, frogs. All of these animals are native to Japan. Shintoism did not include beliefs about animals exclusive to other parts of the world, like camels, or wolves, or elephants, or hyenas, or lions.
Shinto creation mythology include ideas of monkeys and frogs, both which are common and native to Japan, but not of animals not native to Japan.

Purely speculation, but knowing Japan, it appears there have been clans of powerful shayateen jinn who resided in Japan for eons and who influenced the mushrik beliefs and even Japanese culture today. Shintoism, still the majority religion and primary belief of Japan, not only excludes a doctrinal belief in Allah or any Supreme Being and Creator, but it grants godlike powers to "spirit animals" and "ancestors- forefathers" and "ghosts" which can be speculatively said to be shayateen jinn. Even the present prime minister, Shinzo Abe, is a member of a Shinto Occult sect that is vehemently and systematically opposed to Islam, something a kafir jinn would inspire in his followers.

But does this indicate jinn rankings? And does it establish that a certain animal in a dream, like a monkey, definitively establishes a certain ranked jinn in one’s dream? And does this mean only monkey jinn lived in Japan but not camel jinn? I highly doubt it.

Similarly, pagan/mushrik tribal religions in North America which invented/incorporated doctrinal beliefs excluded beliefs about monkeys, hyenas and camels, but had in them beliefs about wolves, bears, eagles- native animals. A native tribesman would venture off into the wilderness on a “spirit quest” or vision or dream quest to bound with an animal, or gain wisdom from an animal. Men would fast, take halucinogens, and otherwise deprive oneself from normal mundane life to invoke a ‘spiritual dream/vision/event’. He would return mentioning a dream of a wolf, or bird, or fish, or bear, or bison, deer, etc. The animals would almost always be only local native animals, which signify subconscious or cultural indoctrination rather than a jinn.
Did these men experience a shaytani dream, or a nafsaani dream?

Again, I raise the question of the sources regarding the different level of jinn taking form of animals in dreams. From what source?

It seems the operative measure is regarding what any dream animals inspires, instructs, prohibits, etc. If a dream animal inspires shirk or prohibited actions and beliefs, then it is likely a kafir jinn ie shaytan regardless of its species categorization.
A dream animal that deals in nafsaani matters could be a subconscious manifestation.

But again, Abu Mohammad, what is the source for your claims regarding dream animals definitively relate to a certain kind of jinn?

Here is an interesting book about the jinn and in them are prescribed the certain categories, including mentioning of jinn taking the form of camels.
However no mention of dreams from what i have read so far.

I have personally dreamt of multiple snakes twisted around my leg knee area, and in that dream i removed a few and a few remained.
This is by no means evidence, but i have been suffering from sihr for a few years know and my problems manifest in physical problems more specifically the legs and knees.

Kitab akam al-marjan fi ahkam al-jan.
                    It is arabic only.

There is also a book written by Imam Jalal al Din Al Suyuti called: Laqt al marjan fi ahkam al jan. also in arabic

I can provide download links for those interested

Abu Kamel concerning the categories the quran mentions the afareet and mareed.

I will look into the tafseer in sha Allah.

Allah swt also describes the jinn under the command of Sulayman (aleihi salaam) as divers builder, and those who did other work.

In dream interpretation we should interpret the dream as a whole not just taking some symbols because many symbols have different meaning according to the dreamer situation it might be a meaning of his /her illness of sihir , Ayn etc or it might have other meanings .. However what brother abu mahmoud wrote is right in case if these symbols were repeated many times in the dreams...

And here are evidences from Sunnah

1- Jinns may appear in form of snakes

Abu as-Sa'ib, the freed slaved of Hisham b. Zuhra, said that he visited Abu Sa'id Khudri in his house, (and he further) said:

I found him saying his prayer, so I sat down waiting for him to finish his prayer when I heard a stir in the bundles (of wood) lying in a comer of the house. I looked towards it and found a snake. I jumped up in order to kill it, but he (Abu Sa'id Khudri) made a gesture that I should sit down. So I sat down and as he finished (the prayer) he pointed to a room in the house and said: Do you see this room? I said: Yes. He said: There was a young man amongst us who had been newly wedded. We went with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (to participate in the Battle) of Trench when a young man in the midday used to seek permission from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to return to his family. One day he sought permission from him and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (after granting him the permission) said to him: Carry your weapons with you for I fear the tribe of Quraiza (may harm you). The man carried the weapons and then came back and found his wife standing between the two doors. He bent towards her smitten by jealousy and made a dash towards her with a spear in order to stab her. She said: Keep your spear away and enter the house until you see that which has made me come out. He entered and found a big snake coiled on the bedding. He darted with the spear and pierced it and then went out having fixed it in the house, but the snake quivered and attacked him and no one knew which of them died first, the snake or the young man. We came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and made a mention to him and said: Supplicate to Allah that that (man) may be brought back to life. Thereupon he said: Ask forgiveness for your companion and then said: There are in Medina jinns who have accepted Islam, so when you see any one of them, pronounce a warning to it for three days, and if they appear before you after that, then kill it for that is a devil.

                            Sahih Muslim 2236 a

2- they may appear inform of dogs /donkeys

It was narrated that Abu Dharr said:
“I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the all-black dog and he said: ‘(It is) a devil.’”

Sunan Ibn Majah Book 28, Hadith 3331 ..Grade: Sahih

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying. When you listen to the crowing of the cock, ask Allah for His favour as it sees Angels and when you listen to the braying of the donkey, seek refuge in Allah from the Satan for it sees Satan.

                            Sahih Muslim 2729

3- they may appear inform of camels

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al-Muzani said:
"The Prophet said: 'Perform prayer in the sheep's resting-places and do not perform prayer in the camels' resting-places, for they were created from the devils."

Sunan Ibn Majah 769..grade : Hasan

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

The jinn may appear in human or animal form; they may appear in the form of snakes, scorpions and so on; or in the form of camels, cattle, sheep, horses, mules and donkeys; or in the form of birds. They may also appear in human form, as the Shaytaan came to Quraysh in the form of Suraaqah ibn Maalik ibn Ja‘sham, when they wanted to go out to Badr. Allah, may He be exalted, says

("And remember when Satan made their (evil) deeds seem fair to them and said, No one of mankind can overcome you this Day (of the battle of Badr) and verily, I am your neighbour (for each and every help). But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he ran away and said ‘Verily, I have nothing to do with you. Verily! I see what you see not. Verily! I fear Allah for Allah is Severe in punishment") Quran 8:48

                            Majmoo al-Fataawa (19/44, 45)

He (may Allah have mercy on him) also said:

The black dog is the devil among dogs, and the jinn often appear in that form, and also in the form of black cats, because the black colour is more able to concentrate devilish power than other colours, and it concentrates heat.

I already mentioned the snake. The lizards are usually a low form of jinn usually from the Jinn occupies the house with the human or what it called the Ommar. Usually they attack the person in his sleep for revenge due to a harm happened to one of them. and in rear cases they come due to a Siher , in Some kind of Ashar ,the Saher will use the Ommar of the house where the targeted person lives to utilize them in the Siher he makes but this type of Siher is very rear and difficult to do specially if the Ommar of the house are Muslims.
