        Assalamu Alikum

January is very good time to go, you may find it slightly nippy in Madinah at that time of year. It is quiet busy. Feb is very nice weather wise and it is not as busy.

        Jazak Allah Khair

Jazakallahu Khair for your feedback. Wanted to go during a quiet period and so decided January. Insha-Allah everything is booked so no changing now. As long as it's quieter than April. April is just to busy.

I just got back home from Madina. Apology for the delay in my reply as I was "off" the web during my trip.

Sea change for agents this year in addition to early on set of the season. Hence I can safely say no agents in UK or USA etc are ready with their contract just yet. I suspect it may take at least three weeks if an agent has to make a fresh start today.

The 14 days rule is from the Saudi government. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs allows a period of 30 days to the pilgrim within which he has to enter Saudi Arabia. They also allow a duration of upto 30 days of stay once the pilgrim arrives but that is not a license for them to stay the allowed 30 days period. Rather it is a flexibility directed at the bulk group organisers who often run into difficulties with airliner schedules.

Don't know how true this is but someone has told me who I choose to get my visa through will impact how long I spend at immigration when I arrive in Jeddah ? He was on about a representative at Immigration ?

                              Is this true ?
