  • Mostly Overlooked Hadiths & Verses and their Wisdom

    Asalamalikum Brothers & Sisters,

    This thread is dedicated for those Hadith & also verses of Quran which our Muslim Ummah normally overlooks (in my humble opinion) OR forgets to implement which will be very necessary for ours success in the both the worlds. Though such things can be in TONS so avoid the general topics that are discussed everywhere and try to remind the Overlooked points from Hadith & Noble Quran. Prophet :saw: had said something like that giving knowledge is an act of Virtues of Jaariya or forever even after our death when its passed on and on to others that was started from us.

    KINDLY do not make this thread a hadith book because there are 10,000's of Hadiths about various incidents, instructions, histories etc etc etc but Kindly post ONLY those hadith that are really overlooked (in your opinion), forgotten and a source to provoke thought & inspiration or wisdom..

    Try to make a headline or topic
    specifying which lesson can be inferred or learned from your posts or leave a note at the end or both, .Jazakallah khair and know that its your duty the knowledge of such should be made known- shared with your Brethren. Wassalam .Lets start with the first one ....

    .
    CONSTANT or steadfastness in Amal or Actions ( isthiqamah)

    Abu Salih reported that Sayyidah Aisha (RA) and Sayyidah Umm Salamah were asked, Which deed was dearest to Allahs Messenger (SAW). They said, That which is done constantly even if it is little. [Ahmed 25494, Bukhari 43, Muslim 785, Nisai 5050, Ibn e Majah 4238]

    Note: I 've seen friends going deep in Religion but after a year leaving it almost of it citing time shortages and other Concerns. So you can pray atleast the Fard rayers but Always & constantly than overburdening with most of all nafl and leaving all the prayers all together later. So we should aim to practise untill death.
    How to achieve it kindly read :http://muallafkampung.blogspot.in/20...istiqamah.html

    EEMAAN OF A BELIEVER IS PRICELESS EVEN IF HE IS THE POOREST OF THE POOR
    GLORIOUS QURAN 14: 31
    31. Say (O Muhammad SAW)to 'Ibd (My slaves) who have believed, that they should perform As-Salt (Iqmat-as-Salt), and spend in charity out of the sustenance We have given them, secretly and openly, before the coming of a Day on which there will be neither mutual bargaining nor befriending
    32. Allh is He Who has created the heavens and the earth and sends down water (rain) from the sky, and thereby brought forth fruits as provision for you; and He has made the ships to be of service to you, that they may sail through the sea by His Command; and He has made rivers (also) to be of service to you.
    33. And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you.

    NOTE :
    Another sahih hadith confirms this notion that until there is just only one believer remains on this face of the earth all the universe will be in tact , sun will do its job and so are all other creations of Allah, JUST FOR THIS ONLY ONE BELIEVING PERSON So value every believer even he may be the lowest in your eyes, For a Kaffir even not a drop of water.
    May Allah protect our eeman and make us die as a true muslim, and resurrect us among Saaliheen. Ameen , Yaa Arraham ar Raahimeen.

    THE GLORIOUS QURAN STRESSING SAYING OF SALAM

    4:86 '' When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it, or (at least) return it equally.Certainly, Allah is Ever a Careful Account Taker of all things.''

    24:61 '' .................................................. ...........................
    But when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allh (i.e. say: As-Salmu 'Alaikum - peace be on you) blessed and good. Thus Allh makes clear the Ayt (these Verses or your religious symbols and signs, etc.) to you that you may understand. ''

    [Ahmed 10630, Bukhari 6231, Muslim 2160, Abu Dawud 5198]
    Sayyidina Abu Huraira (RA) reported on the authority of the Prophet (SAW) that salaam should be offered by the rider to the pedestrian, the pedestrian to the one who is seated, and a fewer number to a larger group. And, Ibn Muthanna added in his hadith: And the young should salute the old.

    It was reported that Abu Hurayrah said When one of you joins a gathering, let him say salaam. When he wants to get up and leave, let him say salaam. The former is not more important than the latter. (Hasan hadith reported in Jami` al-Tirmidhi)

    Note : reply of salam by anyone in the gathering is sufficient.

    Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your riches before your poverty, your free time before your work, and your life before your death.

    Source: Shuab al-Imān 9575

    So we should not waste our free time or our youth.

    I wanted to share this Haidth.

    Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu alayhi wasalam) entered upon a young man as he was dying and asked him. How do you find yourself? He said: 'i have hope in Allah but i am fearful of my sins.' Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu alayhi wasalam) then said : these two feelings do not co-exist in a person's heart in this situation but that Allah will give him what he hopes for and keep him safe from what he fears.

    We should remind ourselves of this Hadith every night before sleeping.

    ALLAH NEVER MISGUIDES UNTIL HE HAS SHOWN TO YOU THE RIGHT PATH (but you followed other's paths and your own whims fancies )

    115. And Allh will never lead a people astray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them as to what they should avoid. Verily, Allh is the All-Knower of everything.

    NOTE: So capitalise on it when Allah shows you the right path

    HOW ALLAH'S TESTS ARE A BLESSING AND A ADZAAB (A MISFORTUNE) AND WHY ?

    7:163. And ask them (O Muhammad SAW) about the town that was by the sea, when they transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath (i.e. Saturday): when their fish came to them openly on the Sabbath day, and did not come to them on the day they had no Sabbath. Thus We made a trial of them for they used to rebel (see the Qur'n: V.4:154).

    7:168. And We have broken them (i.e. the Jews) up into various separate groups on the earth, some of them are righteous and some are away from that. And We tried them with good (blessings) and evil (calamities) in order that they might turn (to Allh's Obedience).

    "EXTREMIST" is as Allah AWJ and His Messenger (saw) define this term- NOT how the hypocrites or the wretched disbelievers and enemies of Allah define "EXTREMIST". Here, Allah AWJ describes the wretched disbelievers (hypocrite apostates and impure disbelieving polytheists and people of the Book) who are like EXTREMISTS as addressed in Jahannam: Holy Quran 23:103-106
    And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame [ghalabat] us, and we were (an) erring people [daaleen]. "
    Here, those who are "overcome" could be described as "extremists", because they fall into dalalah- the misguidance of kufr. They openly deny the Verse of Allah, including the Commands of Allah, and are "daalleen"- misguided into kufr. Daalalah is the opposite of Hidaya- Guidance of Belief. So the ones who oppose guidance of Islam after being presented with it, preferring and remaining in Dalalah- kufr, are the true extremists. As for the use of the "gh-l-b" is used exactly in 18:21 as "ghalabu": overcame- as in a people who overcame another group in an argument. The word is used several times- 31 times- in the Holy Quran in variations most related to defeat and to overcome. The Hadith in this thread refers to not being "excessive" in Deen, as in the Prophet (saws) is advising the believers not to go to excess in acts of worship, as some Sahaba (rah) were inclined to do, especially Abdullah ibn Amr ( RA) who wanted to fast every day like the Prophet (saw), and others. And this is further explained by the ahadith, such as Narrated Anas: It was narrated from Anas that there was a group of the Companions of the Prophet, one of whom said: "I will not marry women." Another said: "I will not eat meat." Another said: "I will not sleep on a bed." Another said: "I will fast and not break my fast." News of that reached the Messenger of Allah and he praised Allah then said: "What is the matter with people who say such and such? But I pray and I sleep, I fast and I break my fast, and I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me." [sahih Nasai] And the athar from Umar ibn al Khattab (raah): We have been forbidden to go into excess. Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Do not talk too much without remembrance of Allah. Indeed excessive talking without remembrance of Allah hardens the heart. And indeed the furthest of people from Allah is the harsh-hearted." [sahih Tirmidhi] Narrated 'Abdullah: We used to participate in the holy battles led by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and we had nothing (no wives) with us. So we said, "Shall we get ourselves castrated?" He forbade us that and then allowed us to marry women with a temporary contract (2) and recited to us: -- 'O you who believe ! Make not unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, but commit no transgression.' (5.87) [sahih Bukhari] And this matter of "excess", or "transgression" or "extremism" is defined by the Quran and Sunnah. And this matter is entirely separate from the TAGHUT manipulation of Islam that is today, as Allah has commanded us: 16:36
    And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut."
    39:17
    Those who avoid At-Taghut (false deities) by not worshipping them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My slaves,

    THE WORST CHARITY

    2:262. Those who spend their wealth in the Cause of Allh, and do not follow up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

    2:263. Kind words and forgiving of faults are better than Sadaqah (charity) followed by injury. And Allh is Rich (Free of all wants) and He is Most-Forbearing.

    THE BEST CHARITY IS TO THOSE WHO DO NOT DISCLOSE THEIR MISERY

    2:273. (Charity is) for Fuqar (the poor), who in Allh's Cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land (for trade or work). The one who knows them not, thinks that they are rich because of their modesty. You may know them by their mark, they do not beg of people at all. And whatever you spend in good, surely Allh knows it well.

    SAME ISSUE but DIFFERENT order OF NABI PBUH

    Dawud :: Book 13 : Hadith 2381
    Narrated AbuHurayrah: A man asked the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) whether one who was fasting could embrace (his wife) and he gave him permission; but when another man came to him, and asked him, he forbade him. The one to whom he gave permission was an old man and the one whom he forbade was a youth.

    ADVICE OF EESA alaihisalam FROM HADITH

    JESUS'S ADVICE

    Malik :: Book 56 : Hadith 56.3.8
    Malik related to me that he heard that Isa ibn Maryam used to say, "Do not speak much without the mention of Allah for you will
    harden your hearts. A hard heart is far from Allah, but you do not know. Do not look at the wrong actions of people as if you were lords. Look at your wrong actions as if you were slaves. Some people are afflicted by wrong action and some people are protected from it. Be merciful to the people of affliction and praise Allah for His protection."

    Malik :: Book 49 : Hadith 49.10.27
    Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Isa ibn Maryam used to say, "O Banu Israil! You must drink pure water and the green things of the land and barley bread . Beware of wheat bread, for you will not be grateful enough for it."
