Asalaamu Alaikum, My sister even if we were pious then a pious person should never think of themselves as pious. A true pious person thinks of themselves as lower in status than other Muslims. Therefore no matter how good a Muslim is then one should never think of themselves as good as that is when a person becomes arrogant and pride fills the heart.

So as Muslims we should always prioritise and put the obligatory prayers first and foremost before anything else. If we are doing other voluntary good deeds but neglecting the obligatory deeds then something is seriously wrong. We must first make sure that we are trying our best to pray the 5 prayers. Then we can concentrate on other good deeds.

But to answer your question, then there is no such thing as certain good deeds only being for "good Muslims". Every Muslim should strive to do as much good as they can possibly to before death as death can take us at any second. Therefore make sure you are trying your best to pray all the 5 prayers and do as many good deeds as you can solely for the pleasure of Allah with sincerity.

So do as much of the 40 good deed list as you can!

Beautiful apartments in Paradise for those who prayed at night:

‘Ali (Ra) said: The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “In Paradise there are apartments the outside of which can be seen from the inside and the inside of which can be seen from the outside.” A Bedouin stood up and said: “Who are they for, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “They are for those who speak good words, feed others, fast regularly and pray to Allah at night when people are sleeping.” [al-Tirmidhi]

                      Having a Good Character

Allah (s.w.t.) says in the Qur'an:

''The slaves of the All Merciful are those who walk with humility on the earth, and who, when the ignorant speak to them, say, 'Peace'.'' (Qur'an 25:63)

''Do not avert your face from people out of pride and do not strut about arrogantly on the earth. Allah does not love anyone who is vain and boastful. Be moderate in your walking and lower your voice. The most hateful of voices is the braying of asses.'' (Qur'an 31:18-19)

'Be kind and humble to the believers that follow you.'' (Qur'an 26:125)

"Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou can not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height." (Qur'an 17:37)

"And swell not thy cheek (for pride) at men, nor walk in insolence through the earth; for God loveth not any arrogant boaster.'' (Qur'an, 31:18)

Anas b. Malik (r.a.) reported that Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was the best amongst people in disposition and behaviour. (Muslim)

Abdullah ibn Masud (r.a) related that the Prophet (pbuh) said: ''Whoever has a grain of pride in his heart will not enter Paradise.'' A man stood up and asked ''what about the person who likes to wear good clothes and fine shoes?.'' The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied; ''Allah is beautiful and loves beauty. Pride means to deny the truth and to look down upon others.'' (Muslim)

Do Good deeds No Matter How Small....

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) taught us to carry out good deeds, no matter how small they are. In Islam, even a smile to a neighbor or removing a harmful object from the road, is classed as an act of charity. Abu Huraira (Ra) reported that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), said: "A man passed by a fallen branch in the middle of the road and said, 'By Allah, I will remove this from the path of the Muslims so that it does not inconvenience them' and he was admitted into the Garden (Paradise)." (Muslim)

The Prophet's wife Aishah (Ra) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “O people, you should do whatever good deeds you can, for Allah does not get tired (of giving reward) until you get tired. And the most beloved of good deeds to Allah is that in which a person persists, even if it is little. If the family of Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) started to do something, they would persist in it.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

Narrated Abu Dharr (Ra): The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Do not disdain any good deed, even your meeting with your brother with a cheerful face.” (Muslim)
