"Allah knows what is in the womb " is a fragment of a Verse which you have cunningly cut out to prove your point. On grounds do you say 'what is in the womb' refers to the sex of the embryo?

Now let us read the Verse from where you have cut out that fragment. and try to understand the meanings.

      Surah Luqman (Luqman)

31:34 (Asad) Verily, with God alone rests the knowledge of when the Last Hour will come: and He [it is who] sends down rain; and He [alone] knows what is in the wombs: [31] whereas no one knows what he will reap tomorrow, and no one knows in what land he will die, Verily. God [alone] is all-knowing, all-aware.

Note [31] This relates not merely to the problem of the sex of the as yet unborn embryo, but also to the question of whether it will be born at all, and if so, what its natural endowments and its character will be, as well as what role it will be able to play in life: and life itself is symbolized by the preceding mention of rain, and the end of all life in this world, by the mention of the Last Hour
Worship only the CREATOR, HE is One and HE is the SUSTAINER of the Universe. Do not worship any of HIS creations nor through HIS creations

It does not mean sex as the people who made tafseer mistakingly thought. The word sex is not mentioned in the ayah. We can find out sex easily with ultrasound while child is in womb. I have retired myself from this debate, I merely stepped in to clarify the Quran.
then surely he is one of them.

i dont say its tafsir says:

In his Tafsir of this ayah, Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Allah is telling us here of His complete knowledge: nothing is hidden from Him and He knows fully what the females of every species carry in their wombs. He says (Interpretation of the meaning): ‘(He) knows that which is in the wombs,’ i.e., He knows whether it is male or female, good or bad, destined for Paradise or doomed to Hell, whether its life will be long or short. Similarly He says (Interpretation of the meaning): ‘He knows you well when He created you from the earth, and when you were foetuses in your mothers’ wombs’ [al-Najm 53:32]

            Sure "self-taught" mufassir saab:

that was long long before the "seal' of the prophets was sent

and allah has mentione it in the final revelation.

Please note that qur'an is the final revelation and therefore there will be no more revelations

Brother your personal insults are wearing thin now, watch your mouth, I have acted with sabr after your continual slander.

I am not saying this. Dr Zakir Naik said this.

Tafseer (not Quran not mentioned in the Quran) says : Allah alone knows the sex of the child in the womb

Science and Common knowledge : Get an ultrasound and they will tell you the sex of the child in the womb.

Contradiction in the Quran ?? NO !! Mistake made by people who did tafsir.
then surely he is one of them.

Looks like people have gone totally off topic, this thread has served its purpose.

                      Grotbags
                      Some of The Best Dhikr

                      1. Quran: Ultimately, the best dhikr is reading the Quran.

Reward: You will be rewarded 10 rewards for every letter read. This prize basically illustrates the weight of the Quran in terms of where it should be in your life.

                      2. SubhanAllah or SubhanAllah wa bihamdihiReward: A tree will be planted for you in Paradise. Nice! Start growing your own forest right now! Another hadith relates that whoever says this 100 times a day, his/her sins will be forgiven even if they were as much as the foam of the sea [Bukhari].

                      3. AlhamdulillahReward: Your scales will be tipped on the Day of Judgment, full of rewards!

                      4. SubhanAllah wal hamdulillah, wa la ilahaillAllah wa Allahu akbarRewardLa hawla wa la quwwata illa billahReward: You will enter through a special door in Paradise for those who oft use this remembrance.

                      6. SubhanAllah (x33), Alhamdulillah (x33), Allahu akbar (x34)Reward: We know that this dhikr is said after each salah, but when Fatima raḍyAllāhu 'anha (may Allāh be pleased with her) the daughter of the Prophet came to her father requesting a servant to help with the household, the Messenger of Allah ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) told her to repeat the dhikr before her sleep and the results would be better than having a servant.

                      7. AstaghfirullahReward:Ayahtul-Kursi [2:255].

Reward: When you recite this verse before you go to sleep, Allah sends a guardian to you and no shaytan will come to you until morning. Those who read this after each salah shall enter Paradise.
