                            Re: Recipes

                            Morning breakfast on the go

                            1 large egg
                            1 cup of milk
                            10ml vanilla extract
                            15 ml sugar

                            Blend until foamy and drink.
If you are into making your own ice cream, substitute cream for the milk and add it to your ice cream maker
I took the road less traveled...where the heck am I?

                              White Chili

(white because it is based on chicken, not beef)

1 pound of boneless chicken breast (cut up into bite-sized pieces)
                              2 med onions (diced)
2 cans of green chilies (drained) [or less since I am not into HOT so I use one or two chilis, not whole cans! ]
1 16oz can of white beans (drained and rinsed)
2 cups of chicked broth (canned is fine)
                              2 tsp. ground red pepper
                              1 tsp. black pepper
                              3 tsp. cilantro
                              2 tsp. oregano
                              2 tsp. cumin
2-3 jalapeno peppers (chopped) [or less! :) ]
                              4 cloves of garlic (crushed)

                              1. Saute onions in some butter or margerine.
                              2. Add all ingredients into large pot
                              3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for at least one hour, more simmering means more subtle flavors
                              4. Serve topped with shredded Monterey Jack cheese and corn bread
