        BUMP, anyone know?
And with Him are the keys of the Ghayb (all that is hidden), none knows them but He. And He knows whatever there is in the land and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but He knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record”

so you can say that it is ضعيف weak

Summary: The Hadeeth is considered ghareeb as at one point in the chain only one person narrated which is Hammad and it is said he would make a lot of mistakes while narrating Hadeeth. This takes it down to da'eef. The narrator above Hammad was Ali Ibn zayd who is also known for his weakness in transmitting ahadeeth and he would add words that were not found in other narrations such the last bit: (سبعة اذرع).

Others have also said that the Hadeeth is mursal meaning it was narrated directly from the taabi'ee without mentioning the sahabi which also takes away from it's authenticity.

However similar narrations have been recorded in saheeh bukhari and muslim as stated by imam Ibn hajar Al haitami and Shaykh Al bani also mentions it in his silsilah as saheeha therefore this Hadeeth is strengthened and taken up from da'eef to Hasan.

Verdict: The Hadeeth is Hasan and is reliable insha'Allah.

                          1. I was wondering, I heard the last bit of 70 cubits was added by ali ibn zayd and scholars say that part is weak, but is the part about white complexion and curly hair considered to have been added by him according to the scholars? I wonder as so far, I have not seen that part added in others, but so far, scholars only say the last bit is weak/added by him.

                          2. Aside from al-albani, did any other scholars say that this hadith in particular(version that mentions complexion and curly hair) is raised to hasan? I just want to know if early scholars said anything as they are considered more reliable in this stuff.

                          3. Btw, did you translate from this: http://www.alhodacenter.org/ashora/details.php?id=5240
