Yes and No.
Yes: I got some freedom, learnt how to take care of myself and have done a lot of growing up. Love my course. Got closer to my deen without family/societal pressure so I knew my intentions were pure.
No: I had to leave my family and friends. My uni friends just didn't/don't do it for me the way my friends at home do. Alhamdullilah I still have them so I spend a lot of time looking forward to the holidays so we can hang out.And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers." I dont even know why im there. I just enrolled cos i didnt know what else to do with my life

I spent four years at university and yet I didn't enjoy it. If I selected a different course I think I would of enjoyed it. Looking back at university I cannot name one thing I liked.Comment
