  • Trustworthy Islamic Sites?

I am looking for an article on something. I try to make a point to check what each site I go to says about certain things to see if it's trustworthy (like how some insanely ridiculous sites *cough* quranicpath.com *cough* say it's permissible to wear nail polish during prayer or that women don't have to obey husband or that hijab isn't required just to name a few.)

I need sites that I can trust. Does anyone here have any sites they use and know are correct?

    Try ummah.com/forum
Heard many great things about it.

    Sunnah.com
Sometimes I use islamqna.com but not too sure of it.

Yes, I hear wonderful things about ummah.com/forum
I was thinking more along the lines of sites containing articles going into depth about rulings and such.

Each person has inside a basic decency and goodness. If he listens to it and acts on it, he is giving a great deal of what it is the world needs most. It is not complicated but it takes courage. It takes courage for a person to listen to his own goodness and act on it.

جزاك اللهُ خيرًا but perhaps edit and add a warning. The majority of Muslims (myself included) hold the view that music is haraam.

And I'll check out invitetoislam. I've never heard of it. Thanks!

It depends on the sect you follow.

Personally I would not trust any site blindly , because almost all out there are just mouthpieces of there own theologies.

I try not to trust any site blindly and I also double check most things. But there are some sites that will say something that is so obviously wrong that it just discredits the entire site in my eyes and sadly sites like that are popping up more and more in search results.

They will not say wrong , what they will do is present the views that suit there fiqh and sect. You will not get the whole picture
