witr prayers

I have heard that you can perform witr prayers with the fajr prayers, but I would like to know that should the witr prayer be prayed before the fajr adaan and am I correct in what I have heard.
please can someone with knowledge confirm.

You should read your witr prayer before fajr time which usually starts before fajr Adhaan

Its with Tahajjud , if you pray Tahajjud . That is before the fajr time sets in. :o
