:salams everyone!
So I just wanted to talk and ask a few questions about prayer times quickly.
Does it really matter which source you get your prayer times from? I mean, from my mind I was sure that as long as I was following one prayer times source and not deviating from it, it would be acceptable, as long as it provided reasonable times.
For example, the timetable my local mosque provides and the timetable I get from lots of different websites are quite different, and I know this is due to different calculation methods.
I really wanted to know this since I am creating a program for this Islamic chat (IRC) channel I am currently operating, and I'm not sure where to get prayer times from.
I see many methods such as the "Muslim World League", etc., and I want to know which is the most reliable.
Thank you.
