Disposing Quran

How do you destroy (if that's the right word :( ) Quranic verses. So if you've got a Quran that is worn out with damaged pages etc, how should you dispose of it?

Also, what about other papers that have Quranic script / Allah 's name on them etc?

Do you burn them?
Put them in the PAPER recycle bin?
Send them to sea?
Bury them in some ground?
Or...?

I would just keep it, can't think of a valid reason to dispose of a Quran.

Just because the pages are worn and the you have damaged pages is not a reason to dispose of it.

Is it really taking so much room in your house?

and no 'destroy' isnt a right word imho. u can say 'disposing unusable islamic literature' instead.

Sorry the room is NOT the issue...

Due to the wear and tear of the Quran we have and the kids reading them, they are all torn and pages have been ripped..kids for you.

Also, magazines with Quranic verses etc included in this topic.

This question has been asked a few times.

- burn them

- shred them

- place paper in water so that words become blurred

- bury them in soil

I recommend burning or shredding.
