salaams sajid can you increase image upload size and can we upload videos directly to UF?

such a pain having to compress images with an app on the phone just to upload a piccy

also can we upload vids straight to the site without having to use third party sites like youtube etc?

    thanks, jazakAllah Khayran

I did look into it the issue is that if we allow full uploads of videos (most the time people wont have a clue how to compress videos) and it will end up using a lot of space on the database and also use up bandwidth and slow down things as well possibly, same with images aswell there is a 1mb limit at the moment anything more that that will use up a lot of bandwidth and disk space

Yeh if its less than 3MB should be able to, thats the video size limit on the forum and as long as it has a .mp4 extension

Also with direct uploading videos users have to download the video to their device you cant embed them unfortunately - thats why discourage uploading videos is people will need to download them before being able to view it
