Re: Irrevocable Divorce - Need Clarification

The only fatwa I found says that the man clearly wrote talaq three times in the divorce papers so maybe it would be first talaq but I'm a layman so ask a scholar we have a scholar here
Don't depend too much on anyone in this world because even your own shadow leaves you when you are in the darkness

I don't know about the islamic regulation related to your situation. But based on the facts you brought up here, do you really think going back together with this person is a good idea?

So I have found a lot of information by researching and will be sharing it here as well because knowledge is power and we as muslims should spread this as much as we can so that muslims are aware of how forgiving our religion is and there is a way out of a divorce if one repents and wants to make it right.

The couple can get back together after one talaq and second talk as well even after the IDDAT period has passed. But the wife has to consent to getting back together and the couple will now have to do a brand new nikah and haq mahar. After the third talaq, they cannot get back together unless halala happens naturally( not preplanned).

The Key here is that during Iddat the guy has the power to take the wife back. After iddat the wife has to agree and consent to getting back together with the guy and agree to a new nikah and dowry.

Surah Baqra 232 by Dr Israr Ahmad

This is such a big privilege that Allah has granted to men ad women which can save a lot of broken homes if we muslims are aware of this provision that is given to us by Allah.

If husband went to the court for divorce and he wants to do this by his heart then it is divorce ismically as well. But if it was in his heart or attention just trying to punish her then they renew the nikah again and can live together. That is my search and Allah knows better. Anything you do it depends what is your Nieet (attention to do something).
